I was looking for a warm and comfortable pair of pajamas and these fit the bill. They are beautifully made, the material and color is first rate and they are toasty warm for a winter night. I appreciate the pants pockets which are handy for carrying small articles like a cell phone and a very classy touch was that the set was packed in a cinch strapped cloth bag - just the thing for packing the pajamas or other clothes on a trip!However, the size that I ordered, the large, was too long in both the pants and the shirt. I bought this size based on reviews which suggested to order one size up (I am normally a medium). I had to sew the pant cuffs up and roll up the sleeves to get a perfect fit. I thought this preferable to returning them as they were so comfortable and well-made otherwise. So I can recommend these pajamas for the quality and presentation but finding the right size may be a challenge.

I ordered a size large in Gingham Green/Navy. After washing in warm water, and drying on the permanent press setting, they fit perfect (not snug, and not too big) For reference, I'm 5' 9" tall and weight 165 lbs. I wear a size 16 1/2 X 32/33 dress shirt, and a size 40R sport coat. My waist is 33", and my inseam is 32".The color is really nice. And the material is very soft. I like the fact the these pajamas have pockets (both in the pants and the shirt). The pant waist has both elastic and a drawstring (no snaps). And the pants also have a fly that's secured by a single button.The workmanship is excellent. And they came packaged in a brown cloth bag. I don't know how these could be made any nicer. I wouldn't be surprised to see these priced at $60.00 or more in a department store.

8/29/2014--1st day thoughts--perfect quality (even nicely boxed). Like this soft material-NOT thin. (retired in Florida with a/c always running, so thick flannel is fine). Not yet washed & plan to hand wash. Like loose fitting pjs', so even if shrinkage, these will be ok, EXCEPT for leg & sleeve lengths, which are super long! Turned up top sleeves 3 times and leg bottoms' 4 times. Color black/navy is wonderful ! (note: button sewing could be slightly better) Have not wore pjs' for 20+ years, as just slept in street clothes. Last pair I wore, in Ill., were thin, tight & so uncomfortable a fabric, I just started hating them...now the flannel feels nice and keeps the nearby a/c cool air off me, especially when sleeping. I like v-neck style, as shown (even for t-shirts--which are very hard to find). IF shrinkage or other, will update. UPDATE UPDATE 11/29/2014 -- Hand-washed in cold water and hung to dry...they are still like new, with no shrinkage. Of course problem with leg and sleeve length has not changed ! Too bad I cannot hem them up. X-large was correctly sized, otherwise.

This was a gift for my husband. He loves them. Well made product of nice, substantial weight and soft flannel. I have not washed these yet so I can't comment about shrinkage. They are sized rather long, so we could tolerate an inch or two vertical shrinkage without a problem.November 2015 update--- If you wash these in warm water and place in a medium heat dryer they SHRINK 5 INCHES! I don't know about the rest of you, but having to wash an item in cold water is a nuisance to me. The directions say wash in cold water and use a low heat dryer. If you follow those instructions, perhaps you will be fine. Because we like the material, style and colors, I ordered another pair in a size large. They look huge, but I will wash and dry in warm water/medium heat and count on them to also shrink 5-6 inches like the medium pair I bought originally.
5.0 out of 5 stars REALLY, REALLY HEAVY, beautifully made pajamas with lots of features!
When I unpacked my new pajamas from their lovely black box, I was amazed at how heavy they were. I never had such thick pajamas from any maker before this. Furthermore, these pajamas had surprises! I found that the pants have two side pockets, something I NEVER had in my pajamas. It also has a chest pocket in the top. I saw in questions asked, if the pants had a fly (because another brand does NOT). And the answer is YES, plus the fly has a button in the middle of it to be sure it's closed. And, even though it has a really good elastic waistband, it also has a drawstring closure made of the same material as the pajamas.I washed these dark blue (my choice) checked pajamas inside-out twice before wearing them to be sure I wasn't covered in lint. Well, they really didn't clog my dryer's lint filter much. So I think they will last a long time. Again, I can't emphasize how heavy these are. I was sometimes pretty hot wearing them in bed, but the main idea is not to be cold - that's why I bought flannel pajamas in the first place!By the way, these pajamas fit as expected. Although I usually wear a size small, the smallest size of these pajamas is medium. I found the trouser length was good for me, and the top and sleeves fit very nicely. There seemed to be plenty of length in the shirt top for taller people.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. I have to say, I love that they are made here in the Northwest. I also love the quality of these pajamas. They are amazing. Great quality, fit and the fabric is soft. They come in a very nice bag - which of all things amused my husband and we are quite sure it can second as a night cap! :-) You can just really tell that these are made with great care. I'm very impressed and plan to buy from this company again!UPDATE: they pajamas did shrink a lot - so buy a size up. The company was great to work with to get this issue resolved for me.
