I've been hesitant to try TRX because I was worried I was strong enough in my hands or body to do the workouts but honestly it's pretty easy to modify to meet you at different levels! Set up is very simple & the workouts are simple yet effective!

At the time of this review we're right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I've been a gym-goer for decades but I haven't been to a gym in 6 weeks and it doesn't look like I'll be going again anytime soon. I looked at many different fitness systems that I could use from home as well as travel, so it had to be light and portable. Wasn't interested in buying a bunch of weights and dumbbells to lug around. And those fang-dangled workout machines (ie. Total Gym) with cables and pulleys that you can "hide under your bed" didn't appeal to me either. I love the flexibility, versatility, and portability of the TRX system. It seems extremely durable and built to withstand heavy use. It doesn't quite compare to having a fully equipped gym at your disposal but if you don't have access to a gym this is a great alternative and you can get a good full-body workout if you follow the free workout guides and videos. Bonus: during the current pandemic Bolo was saying 2-3 weeks for delivery, which had me concerned, but regardless I still received it in 3 days. Thanks TRX!

I agonized over my decision on purchasing a suspension trainer. Do you buy the TRX and pay the big bucks, or do I buy a knock-off and save $100? I opted to go TRX Pro 3. A big decision factor for me was the rubber handles. I did not want foam handles- foam tears, my cat eats it, my cat gets plugged up, my cat has to have a $2000 surgery (3 times so far now). So no foam in my house. I also read that some of the knock-offs were known for tearing at the stitches or the metal buckles breaking. I decided I didn't feel like risking a problem like that and having the inconvenience of having to do a return, or even an injury. The TRX comes with everything in the picture. The straps, the extension strap (which I guess goes around a tree or telephone pole), and a door hang. They are super easy to adjust, and with purchase you get one year on the TRX website which has some decent tutorials, and also there's a ton of free workout tutorials on YouTube. I think you could get just as good a workout with any suspension trainer, but I do feel I have ease of mind with this one that I would not have had with the other options or even less expensive TRX options.

I wanted to return to lifting weights, but was afraid of hurting myself because I was on the couch too long. I hired a personal trainer and she started me doing squats with these because of being overweight and having knee pain. I am so happy to have this option using TRX bands. Doing isometric exercises is getting me strong very fast.

Used this very TRX equipment at recent physical therapy for knee injury. Ordered for myself to continue same exercises at home to accelerate strength and recovery. I see myself using this beyond therapy for daily exercise. It is fun and easy to use. However, I advise doing research online for videos and instructions on proper use, form, and technique as to prevent injury and get maximum benefits.Also make sure you enough space and height for intended workout area. Not having enough space or height to mount is a limitation. Again research before buying. This particular TRX came with 3 ways to mount: most common is the door hinge anchor, other two included straps: one requires sold separately metal anchor which there are many out there options. Other was a loop strap which imagine for lasso around a beam/bar/tree/etc not sure as no instructions on this way to anchor mount included.

The TRX is a great device for a total body workout. I have used a TRX for several years at the gym. I just recently bought one and installed it in my garage. By adjusting the angle of your body an exercise may be made more or less difficult. There are numerous exercises available for each major muscle group with youtube videos to demonstrate.

When I went to register my straps, it told me that my serial number was invalid. I saw others reviews about having the same experience. I also saw people say that because the serial number wasn't on a hologram type sticker that it must be a counterfeit. There are a few websites that discuss counterfeit TRX straps and say it should be on a hologram sticker, but that's not true. Mine looks exactly like the other pictures people have posted. I also noticed the serial number on the box was different than the one on my straps. I emailed the official TRX company with a picture of the card with the access code, a picture of the serial number on my straps and the different serial number on my box and they got back to me in less than 24 hours saying they notified IT and would have the serial number on my straps updated in their system. For some reason, the serial number on my straps wasn't showing up as being sold, perhaps a scanning issue with Bolo fulfillment or the content got put in the wrong box or something. I'm guessing if I tried the serial number on the box, it probably would've worked, but I didn't want to register a pair of straps I didn't have. So don't automatically assume you have a counterfeit. Email the company with a picture of the serial number on your straps and they will update their system.
