So an update- I took the pump off and submerged it in water thinking that maybe there was a clog. Still wouldn't work. Then I stuck the open end into the sink full of water and tried pumping. Still wouldn't;t work. Then I secured the pump(pushed it closed and twisted the cap til it was closed. Then I unscrewed it and started pumping it-Success!! It now works!

The convenience of using a pump rather than struggling with flip caps or squeeze bottles is a significant plus, making it a time-saving and user-friendly solution.One notable drawback, however, is the length of the pump. In my case, it was too long for the bottle I intended to use it with. This meant I had to trim the bottom of the pump to make it fit appropriately. While the modification was relatively easy to do, it was an unexpected extra step in the setup process.It would be beneficial if the product came with adjustable or customizable pump lengths to accommodate various bottle sizes without the need for trimming. This would enhance the product's universality and eliminate the potential inconvenience for users who encounter similar sizing issues.Despite the need for modification, once adjusted, the pump has performed admirably, providing a mess-free and controlled dispensing experience. If you don't mind making a minor adjustment to ensure a proper fit, the Universal Shampoo/Conditioner Pump for Bottles is a reliable solution for simplifying your hair care routine.

I have this Redken conditioner that I absolutely love, but it requires He Man strength to squeeze it out of the bottle. So I got this pump, and, bam. Magic. Problem solved. Also, excellent customer service.

The stems going down into the shampoo bottle are too long and need to be cut to the length that fits the Keratase shampoo bottle. Otherwise everything is good.
