Not only are these drinking glasses classy looking, well balanced and easy to hold, they are surprisingly sturdy, resisting breaking, chipping and etching. I have some that I have owned for years and only recently had to replace a few.

This is my second purchase of the Luigi Bormioli Bach glasses. I bought six from another company and when I broke two of them, I added to the set with this purchase of four. I looked for a long time for fluted glasses which are hard to find and was thrilled to find this brand. They are very attractive and look expensive. Only one small caveat: I wouldn't buy these if I had children since they don't hold up well to being banged on the rim. That's how I broke two; they didn't shatter, but a crack ran from rim to base. Otherwise, I like them and use them as my everyday drinking glasses. I will probably continue to buy them as long as I can find them because they are so attractive.

I am such a huge fan of these glasses that I bought the accompanying double/old-fashioned glasses as well. The vertical ribs are so gorgeous, and the glasses are sturdy and well-made.Bormioli is just one of my fav glass-makers at a decent price point. I'm very happy with these.

The design of these glasses is absolutely beautiful and worth the price. We use them daily and typically hand wash or wash on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Since they are glass, they may not be durable for everyone. I am definitely ordering another set of 4.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t know what this manufacturer was thinking, but these glasses are obviously defective. The tops are heavily inclined to one side. In addition, they were horribly packed and two out of the eight came broken.

Can’t understand why this rim is chipping afterbeing used only a few times. Found chips in 4 of the 8 that I purchased. Never dreamed they would chip so I threw away the boxes they came in. I like the look but will they last as long as every other glasses I’ve had? My glasses last forever so are these functional for daily use? And who wants to bother hand washing everyday glasses?

I bought the 16oz highball set. I really thought I was going to love these glasses, but I don't.First off, just to put this review in perspective, I'm using these glasses strictly for gin & tonic cocktails which I have right before dinner. I've had the set for about a month now so that would be about 30 G&T's.Likes: I like the mouth feel of the edge--no ridge or bead like you get with glass, nice and thin, and not too narrow or too wide. I like the weight. I find them easy to wash--I hand wash them of course--and they don't seem to need hand drying because I'm not getting water spots.Dislikes: The bottoms on mine are not flat by only a tiny little bit but that means that when I put my glass down on my coaster the glass wobbles--just an annoyance. Also, the top of the glass is slightly narrower than the bottom of the glass. I thought this would be nice, but the fact is that when you lift the glass, which is kind of heavy especially when full and covered with condensation, it really feels like it's about to slip out of your hand. I never get this feeling from a straight-sided glass or one with a slight outwards taper. So, yeah, very picky nits, but bottom line is I'm still looking for my ideal highball glass.

I initially bought these several years ago, when briefly stocked by M&S.So super happy to find them again having deciphered the signature on the base.They truly do exactly as they say and remain clear and sparkly even with dishwasher cleaning.Came as promised, well packaged and in perfect condition.
