With full 200M water resistant, shock resistant, 24Hr stopwatch and countdown timer, standard issue never looked this good with the DW9052-1C. Black resin band digital watch with negative LCD screen.
Casio
With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.
Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice watches
Great watches and great price!
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing watch and looks good.
I really don’t know why almost all of the reviews say this watch is hard to read. Easy to read , looks good , durable , never knew it had a stopwatch until I got it , Im satisfied.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Watch, only one thing I would change.
I really like this watch. The reverse color characters, the general layout that is not too busy so I don't have to hunt for the time of day. Really the only thing I would change is the lighting. There are two small white lights on the bottom of the display. I would much rather have the blue glow a lot of watches use these days. That is really a minor issue, you can see the numbers just fine with the lights. Not worth taking a star off unless you really need more stealth as in you are on some military night op...
4.0 out of 5 stars Poor visibility, hydromod solves
I have never been a huge lover of negative displays, Casios negative displays are somewhat poor on most models, unless it is an STN display or a MIP display, this model has neither so unless in direct sunlight the visibility isnt great.I hydromoded this, it involves filling the inside of the watch totally in oil inside the case, it improves legibility while at the same time increasing the water resistance to upwards of 1000 m.The rest of this watxh is basic, what Casio does best at this price point is value for money, it has the basic features, world time, stopwatch, timer etc, it does not have an auto Led, that comes on at the tilt of the wrist which a lot of Casios do have, a shame because this would have been a nice feature, in fact due to the visibility of this watch an auto led would be extremely useful. However the light does luminate nicely at the press of a button.A nice watch, but at the same price Casio does better watches Dw5000 would be a great buy at a lesser cost than this watch, but as with all Casios they cater for everyone at every price point, there is no shortage of choice from Casio. Please be aware the readability of this watch can be frustrating and the hydromod, should only be done either by someone who knows what they are doing or with the knowledge that they are partaking in a risk, negating the Casio warranty.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best basic watch I've found
I normally wear a smart watch but over the last year, I have been looking for alternative solutions that have a wide range of functions, but can take a beating in hard conditions. This watch met all of my criteria.Though it seems a little expensive for a "basic watch" it has quite a wide range of features. It has all of the modes that I typically use on a smart watch, with the exception of GPS related features and healt monitoring (although I believe a more expensive version of this watch can do these). The watch goes with me whenever I am out doing things like landscaping or home improvement (I spend a lot of time doing property maintenance). It doesn't even have a scratch and looks brand new with a little rinse.I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from the constant nagging of smart watches and wants a good, capable timepiece.

My brother likes it
5.0 out of 5 stars Superb watch
This watch exceeded my expectations. I grabbed this from Bolos "clearance" site, which if you're not familiar offers deep discounts on returned, refurbished items. The watch was listed in like new condition for almost 75% off! I felt safe buying it because it could be returned if I wasn't satisfied...and I 💯 was! The original box wasn't in great condition but the watch was still in it's clear plastic affixed to the plastic holder. Instructions and warranty card was also included. This went immediately on my wrist after setting it-which was a breeze! The band is durable and should fit all size wrists. The time display is easily visible. Very very pleased. 😊
3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment
I wore my original G-Shock watch for five years. I ruined it when trying to change the battery myself in previous years, a professional in Highland Park Mall did it but there prices have gone up to 60 dollars for the battery change. When trying to do it myself I apparently got mixed up with the various parts involved in the reassemble. It would not longer work. I turned to Bolo for a new G-shock watch. I received the watch and I am currently wearing it. When using it to check the time and date I realized that this G-shock watch was substantially smaller than the original, making it for me more difficult to read the time and particularly the date which is even smaller. It has become obvious to me that this watch is a reduce scale version of the original G-shock watch. This was not pointed out by the seller. Obviously G’s come now in various sizes.
Nice watch!
Its larger than what the description says. Its 48.5mm. Not 43mm or wherever it says... Which I knew. 43mm would have been way to small. Got this used in excellent condition. Totally worth it. You can't get a G-shock for 65$ nowadays... Very happy!!
Great Watch
Exactly what I was looking for. This watch is built to last I work as a millwright mechanic and I needed a watch that can take some abuse. Price is right and it looks great on.
Great watch for the price
Great watch for the price. Hard to read in some lighting even when its not dark but keeping in mind this is a military watch so thinking about it, it shouldn't be bright all the time, just my opinion of course. You always have the back light! Instructions are straight forward and the watch does what its supposed to do. The watch is tough as nails. For those guys who have a small to.medium sized wrists this is perfect as its not too big or too small. Bigger guys might find this smaller.
Made to Last!
I originally got this watch back in 2016 and have been wearing it since! (Its 2019 now!)First off I wanna say that it fits on my wrist perfectly, even after my wrists got a little bit thicker. It has been through SOOO much the last 3 years I wore it! I mean I've gotten it caught in a lot of things, its been dunked into dirty greasy sinks, even gone rock climbing on an actual rocky cliff, its even been accidentally dropped from high places and landed on some pretty hard surfaces, and was even exposed to some pretty high temperatures, and I mean desert heat, and even was a few inches away from a camp fire and aside from a few nicks and minor cosmetic damage (and I mean the strap came loose once because I got my hand caught pretty bad and put a lot of force to get it out) the watch itself is still kicking, the strap wasn't even that hard to fix, and I have never once had to change the battery within these 3 years! If I were to put money on how much longer it would last, I would say aside from maybe changing the battery every few years if not more then 5, the watch would still be perfectly running even when I'll be in my death bed!but I wouldn't recommend burning it since it is made of a rubbery material after all.It is unfortunate that I'm gonna have to change it for a new watch soon since I feel like I've grown out of it but I would recommend this watch to anyone who's not looking to spend a lot of money on a watch and wants it to last a lifetime!P.S: The photo I've provided is what the watch looks like after all the time I've been wearing it, and you gotta admit it still looks like new!
Very difficult to read.
Very difficult to read. It’s too dark. The picture is not a good representation.
