Former pastry chef here.... I continue to buy this brand as it's far superior to the junk you find in your grocery store. For a novice baker, this is a large amount of cocoa powder if you're only doing the occasional baking, and it's possible it will spoil if you're not using it in a year or so. But the flavor and quality is so worth it. It's also a much darker cocoa powder (not quite a black cocoa, though), so just beware that your baked goods will come out a bit darker if you're used to using H**shey's. I find the bag to not seal that well and it gets messy, so this goes straight in a stackable food container.

I've tried a many of these cacao powders -- using as a superfood and not really enjoying the flavor or texture of most of them. Just consuming it for health benefits, but THIS -- THIS taste like a decadent high end chocolate dessert at a fine restaurant -- and all I had with it was A2 and stevia - Totally transported. It really tastes like it will make every cookie or cake the star of any sweet thing in the room. No after taste, no deep bitter/chalky texture. I would give this 10 stars.

Worth the price and it will last a long time if stored properly. Very rich, earthy dark chocolate flavor. Glad they added resealable packaging. I freeze half of the volume after opening the bag since my kitchen tends to stay warm during the summer. I tried a few other high quality brands but came back to this cocoa. Absolutely the best choice for brownies. Thanks to Stella Parks for recommending this cocoa in her review, she was correct.

Love this cocoa powder. I don't find it bitter and I think it has a wonderful taste. I've had great success using it for baking and making hot chocolate.

This stuff is gorgeous. Like one reviewer says it makes Fryes and Nestles taste (and look) like sawdust in comparison— deep rich colour and deep complex chocolate taste. Can’t wait to jazz up the Mochas and do some baking with this cocoa. The best before date is 2025 and I just received it August 2023– it’ll be long gone by then.

Honestly, this cocoa powder is divine, it’s the colour of the deepest seduction of espresso hue I’ve ever seen. So granular I use it to dust my fiancé to sleep. If I could I’d buy it by the tonne. Sublime.
