Purchased yet another for my Dad and he says he wishes he had one of these years ago. I can fill my mower in 5 seconds, it shuts off perfectly when the tank is full and no more mess trying to pour a five gallon gas jug into a little push mower. Great product and I must be lucky as I now have three of these and all work perfectly, fast, The batteries seem to last forever as I have not had to replace them since I purchased my first one nearly a year ago and it gets used nearly every day in my Small Engine repair shop filling gas tanks and filling kerosene heaters daily in the winter to heat my 24x60 shop.Four month follow up; I have used this unit daily through the rough winter. I fill my Kerosene Heater with 2 gallons daily, Pump four 5 gallon cans into my plow tractor every snow storm plus additional use of a full size John Deere 2040 full size with 20 gallon tank for diesel fuel, I filled that up a couple times. It also leaks hydraulic fluid here and there and I pumped 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid with it, no problem. I changed the hydro transmission oil in my Wheel Horse D-200 which holds 6 quarts of 0w40 synthetic oil and it really worked slick for that as the filler tube is hard to access. You need a long funnel with a small end and there is no way your not going to make a mess...with this pump I just used a short funnel stuck in the filler tube and the hose was long enough to pour it right in...done in five minutes vs. the 1/2 screwing with the funnel deal and trying to dump a 5 qt. jug of oil ever so slowly...just standing there for 15 minutes trying not to move a muscle so I don't spill any...real PIA. The shut off works perfectly and makes for no mess filling of the kerosene heaters. It shuts off as soon as the fluid reaches the end of the filler tube. I simply place it about an inch into the tank and it never fails and there's no mess, slick. I am purchasing two more for birthday presents coming up and I know they will love them.I heat my 24x60 small engine repair business shop with two kerosene heaters (also have an oil furnace but kero is cheaper), One is a toyo-stove 23,000 bto and the other is a toyo 10,000 btu. I have been using this device to keep those full (daily), fuel two tractors as well as one garden tractor that is very hard to fill without running over. It is a Simplicity and the tank filler is up by the steering wheel and the hole is only 1 1/2" and the tank is black. I nearly always ran it over (it even has a built in spillway so the engineers knew it was a PIA). With this pump it shuts off perfectly every time...no mess...ever. It is also VERY fast for a device powered by 3 volts. It fills my large Kero heater, 2 gallons. in less than one minute. Great device.

Works like a charm, my husband says. We bought one for our home use. Using it for gasoline for our lawn mowers, etc. But just purchased a second one for our camping area, to help with adding gas to our ATV. No mess, no fuss. And both are working great and are easy to use. Fast shipping, good packaging. This has really taken the danger and difficulty of adding gas to our ATV. The gas tank is in an awkward place near the seat and you can't really tilt a gas tank easily without possibly spilling gas on the ATV and seat. So this nifty item has taken that suspense out of filling the tank.Addition: We have been using this now for some time. We use it while hunting/camping for putting gasoline in our ATV. We used to have to pour directly from the red gas can to the ATV tank. The ATV tank is in a kinda crummy place that makes it very difficult to add gasoline if not filling it at a gas station. We would lose gas by trying to hold the gas tank nozzle over the ATV tank opening, (holding a portable gas can is heavy and not easy). We sometimes would over fill it and lose some gasoline as well. At the price of gas today we can't afford that. We have used it perhaps 25 times for the ATV but also have added gas to our car while out camping. We have done this a bout 6 times. I really questioned my husband about his likes and any dislikes. He loves it. It has made this task of adding gasoline to the ATV and auto and simple job. He says it works great, simple, not messy, less dangerous and saves money because we are not pouring good gas where we don't want it. He did not come up with one dislike. I know there are others that have apparently had problems but this thing has been a terrific addition to our camping trips. We purchased a second one to keep at home. Have only used it a few times but again it works as good as the first one. I decided I wanted to try it before coming in and adding to this review. It was so simple. I could not (nor would not) add gas to the ATV by lifting up a 5 gal can. Could never get it aimed right and would spill it. This is now no longer a problem.

this pump works very good. I find it is very convenient for transfering gas from a karge gerry can to a smaller container for filling my gas generator , ride on mower and eliminates spilling gas all over the place. Pumps very fast . Good for removing old gas from mower etc.
