So I got my first dog and I can see why people say this is a good first step before having a baby (though I know - on a much smaller scale) to get a sense of the time and responsibility that this new dependent requires out of you and your normal routine. Anyway, so I got this to hold the "essentials" as I see them for when the dog is going somewhere with me. I like it. I have had it for about 5 months now I believe and it's held up well. I especially like that:1) The top, larger container sort of snaps open/close and my dog doesn't even seem to sniff out the fact that there's treats inside which is awesome since it is in the back seat with him and if he could smell treats he would paw at it BIG TIME. but he leaves it alone, so great!2) I like the style of it. I drive a SUV Lexus - so you know - I'm kinda into style. It doesn't look like a plastic piece of crap.3) I also like that it has a clip that allows me to quickly take it off the back of the seat - I have only had to do it a couple of times but I also have seat cover protector for the back seat that slides over all the head rests and it does NOT have this feature and it's a little irksome to pull over the bulky headrests that I have (I some times have to take the head rest off to remove the strap) but again, this one does have a quick release and I like it.4) I like the size of it, it's not too big or too small for me.I think it's a sound investment if you need this sort of thing.

I wanted this to keep the dog items together for road trips as well as day to day errands. I like having a dog water bottle holder, emergency potty pads, rubber gloves, wipes, poop bags, and collapsible dog dishes all organized together. I would not keep food in it. Not sure I like the way the main compartment works--like a typical car trash can set up. Will see. I put the larger things in there. As others have said, the bag dispenser doesn't work well, and I just clipped a standard bag holder onto the front of it using a carabiner. Overall the design could be better, but the price is right, so this is a good compromise.

Pockets for water bottles. Big central pocket for leashes, collars, treats. A pocket for doggie bags. I’ve only had it a few weeks but it keeps all of these things off the floor and scattered. I like it.

Exactly as advertised. We recently took our boxer girl on a road trip to Santa Fe. This bag was great for rest stops, keeping her leash handy, as well as her poop bags and water. I also sneaked in a few doggie treats for our good girl. Great size - large enough to hod daily necessities, but small enough to carry along with you to the dog park. Very nicely made and very good quality. Nice gift for any dog parent!

The main pocket is a decent size and I like that it is easy to close. I wish the side pocket where the water bottle goes was a little more snug so the bottle didn't just fall out. Also if I could make the adjustable strap a little longer would be nice. Would like to unbundled it from my car and use it a a bag for walking in the park.
