The size availability if this WIX brand for the vehicle type and year we have could only be located at Bolo and was at a fair price around $10. WIX brand is the standard for high quality. I was relieved to have obtained it to continue to preserve the longevity of our vehicle's engine by the importance of highest quality oil filtration. I did the research and know that maintaining quality engine oil is highly critical, especially since it costs so much more nowadays with full synthetic oil. Why let it get ruined by other lower quality brands that pretend to do a job but don't do it well enough?

Not much to say, wix makes the best oil filters. I can only say that my cars run fine with them. I don’t have my own mass spec or icp oes to test the oil myself. I’ll have to take the companies word for that. But the car runs great.

Better quality than your standard vehicle oil filters. Cheaper than going to an auto parts store for the same filter. I usually buy a couple at a time, because the price is so good.

My mechanic is a former Toyota Master Tech at a local dealership as well as being a mechanic for OTR trucks prior to that so I trust his recommendations. My 2009 Tacoma Pre-Runner has 352,000 and remains mechanically excellent--not even leaking any fluids! Since I started going to him, he's got me using Shell Rotella T6 (full synthetic) 5W40 so I pair that with Wix oil filters and since I'm using full synthetic oil, it was only logical to use the XP version and have him perform my changes at 10,000-mile intervals. Do I have definitive proof that this filter or oil is responsible for prolonging the life of my truck? No, but I don't think it hurts either. I'll continue to use both as I strive to reach 400,000 and--God willing--500,000.

I try to only use Wix oil filters if I can find them. With the synthetic oil I use, I change the filter between oil changes. I trust Wix filters for this.
