Wow. I didn't expect these to be made so well. These flies are tied great and seem to be hardy. What a great value! I will buy these again.

The ad says "This item consists of 12 flies; 3 each of hook size 12, 14, 16, 18" I am 90% sure the sizes are really 14,16,18, 22. I will know in a few days when I meet up with my fly tying fishing buddy in Montana and let him look at them. I was more interested in the 12 & 14 sizes than any of the others. If I am wrong I will correct this review but still leave the review at 4 start because I ordered 2 dozen and was shorted a couple flies. Other than that the flies are very good quality so it's still a good value, I'm just a stickler about truth in advertising

The flies are overall pretty decent after prepping them. The vast majority had glue in the eyes which I found rather difficult to clean out and I had one hook break. As far as bang for the buck I would buy these again, they aren't much worse than I would tie myself but certainly not what I expect from my local shop.
