There are many seasonings for pizza but this one has the right amount of spice to makeit taste like pizza's of the past. I like a spicy, Italian flavor and this is the best one I have found.It's worth the price. You will miss it if you cheap out and get the other ones. Go with the best

Multi use seasoning. Can be mixed into your pizza dough, sprinkled on top, or can set it out on the table with your salt & pepper. Delicious seasoning. Will purchase again.

King Arthur makes great cooking and baking items and this definitely does not disappoint. We have a little Ooni Pizza oven and this seasoning takes our pizzas up another level. It is even great for breadsticks. You could add it to other pizzas you get delivered as well if you would like to add extra flavor. If you like onion, garlic, basil, oregano and red pepper then you will like the seasoning. It is even a nice addition to soups that need a little flavor boost. I have added a little pinch to bowls of chicken noodle soup. It is a very fragrant mix, be sure to keep the jar sealed.

I make a very basic pizza sauce: Cento brand San Marzano whole tomatoes, a little tomato paste, a little oil, salt and fresh basil. That already is an amazing sauce. At first I wasn't sure about using this because I wanted to keep my pizza sauce as pure as possible. But I thought what the heck, let's give it a shot. And I'm glad I did because it really does amp up the flavor just enough. I use a heaping teaspoon along with my other ingredients and it gives it a really nice taste. Here's my recipe for an amazing pizza sauce, in case anyone needs it:1. 28 oz can of Cento's brand San Marzano whole tomatoes2. About 2 tablespoons of tomato paste (I use the Cento brand in a tube, super handy)3. About 1 teaspoon of freshly ground kosher salt4. About 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil5. Fresh basil (I usually use about 7 medium sized leaves, and cut or rip them into the sauce6.1 heaping teaspoon of the King Arthur pizza seasoningJust put it all in blender or food processor then use the chop button. I usually push the chop button about 4 or 5 times, holding it down for just a few seconds each time. I like to get everything well blended, but still leave a little bit of chunk from the whole tomatoes. The sauce is amazing and tastes like the sauce we ate in Italy.I hope this helps at least one aspiring pizza maker!
