This formulation provides 1000 micrograms of fully active B12 to help ensure excellent oral absorption. Thiamin ("vitamin B1") is fundamental to human metabolism because it is essential for the metabolism of oxygen. The microscopic "power plants" of our cells (mitochondria) require thiamin to generate energy, but elsewhere in the cells it is also required for energy generation. Thiamin is important for metabolizing amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, but is especially important for managing sugar and other carbohydrates, and can be depleted by high-carbohydrate diets. Thiamine even helps support the delicate blood vessels of the retina and other tissues in the presence of high levels of circulating blood sugar. This vitamin is absorbed only as thiamin (not as other thiamin vitamins) in the upper small intestine. Alcohol can impair the proteins that transport thiamin, and high alcohol consumption is linked to thiamine deficiency. The brain and other nervous tissues have especially high thiamin requirements. Other organs with high oxygen requirements, such as the heart, also have high demand for thiamine.

Trusted brand and easy way to get B vitamins for better energy throughout the day. I’m happy it includes niacin because that seems to help with energy production. I haven’t noticed a strong smell. I always eat breakfast before I take these to avoid a niacin flush. Very good.

Great supplements. Only complaint is that I wish they were divisible into half or thirds (as recommended by Novos labs who links to this product) due to the large dosage. I just take every other day but halving it would be great. Still a wonderful product!

As a plant based eater, I have taken a vegan B12 supplement for years. Recently, I ran out and was “too busy” to order more. After a couple months, I noticed having low energy especially in the afternoons and then started having heart palpitations. I went to the doctor to be safe, and confirmed that everything was good except my B12 was on the bottom end of the “normal range.” I ordered this B complex, and within less than 2 weeks of taking it daily, the palpitations were gone and energy is coming back. Lesson learned. This is a great oral supplement and seems to be very effective without any negative side effects.

I think these B vitamins are great, I notice my pee is very yellow after I take them so they have. A good concentration level.
Great for MTHFR Hetero
The product is fantastic, I used to buy from Ebay, Australia but prices have been going up. Even paying for freight and gst on top of this Bolo AU price, Its a good price which is equivalent for AU$17 for 30 days supply, whereas Ebay Aust was $27 for 30 days.NIACIN FLUSHING I do get this occasionally, it does no harm whatsoever, it is not a fault of the capsules. When the pills are fresh, it sometimes happens. My face and neck get a bit red and theres a slight tingle like sunburn,but its all over in 15 minutes. Look up Dr Ben Lynch articles, so many people think there is something wrong with the capsules if they have a flush. I normally take straight after breakfast, I try and take with half glass of water, however sometimes I take with a warm mild coffee. If I forget my pill and its past 3pm, I will not take it, as I believe it could affect my sleep.Ive had other folate supplements, but I love the other B's in this Complex, I really benefit from Riboflavin and all the other B's in this complex are in a good absorbable form.I sometimes top up with Doctors Best 400 mcg folate but I have not noticed much benefit with them.I have only given 4 stars as I felt my order was not despatched immediately, it was several days after the order & from date of order to arrival in Australia it was 24 days. Unlike Ebay, I did not know who to contact to chase up.
