I deliver groceries and restaurant meals via bicycle across all four seasons. I add a couple of these blankets to my hot/cold bags in order to keep foods at their optimal temperature. The outdoor temps that I work in can exceed 100°F in the summer and dip below 20°F in the winter. These blankets do not disappoint. I also work in an area that has a sizable homeless community, and I oftentimes give them away to my homeless neighbors who need them whenever the temps drop. The last time I checked, emergency blankets similar to these cost upwards of $5 each at my local big box retailers.

Fits great in a pocket, backpacking or a go bag. Does what it needs to when needed. Recommend everyone have one in there car, camping or emergency bag. Holds in the heat while also block any thermal devices.

We bought a large pack of these mylar blankets to cover our windows during the summer during extremely hot & sunny days. We carefully measured our sunniest windows and sliding glass doors, then used duct tape to adhere them together for a double cover. You can still see through the double thickness during sunny days, but these definitely kept heat out and our rooms about 10 degrees cooler than the outside.They rip very easily, but we were able to carefully roll them up at night and tie them to top so we could easily unroll them each day we needed them. It wasn't attractive to look at the rolled-up blankets afixed to the top of the window each evening or non-sunny day, but hey - sacrifices need to be made, so we're glad we had these mylar blanket. We're already working on an improved plan for next summer so they rip even less.

I purchased these for emergencies and placed in vehicles, and kept a few at home. I have had these for a while and wanted to test them out. One Saturday in February 2022, my son decided he wanted to go fishing. It was a warm morning but sitting on a rock near the lake shore, I got cold. I pulled a sheet out and wrapped myself in the sheet. I warmed up but my back just stayed cold. The size is great, it is of a good quality as it lasted more than one go at the lake, and it sure did keep water off my clothes when the wind picked up. Great product, will purchase again in the future.

My AC wasn't cutting it in the summer, so I bought a pack of these to put up over my windows. The reflective mylar does a great job of blocking the vast majority of UV light that was coming through my vintage, historical, single-pane windows. Just by adding mylar to all external windows, I was able to keep my place cooler by almost 10 degrees.It's not the prettiest stuff. You'll see streaks where the mylar was folded. But, if you double-apply the mylar perpendicular, then the streaks form a nice checker pattern that's actually quite novel and further blocks UV light.Note that the mylar also cuts down on visible light. This is essentially having tinted windows.

The past two years I've felt the need to be more prepared for a few things. We live in the country so more remote than easy walking distance to help. We seem to have more issues with the power going out than in the past so I wanted to be prepared in case it is cold and that happens. We only need three in the house so decided to add a couple into our vehicles as well. They are very lightweight but the material seems tough enough. I did pull and try to stretch and tear one....it's possible but not easy so made well too. Also being mylar they could double as a makeshift farraday bag....so double bonus.

I live in Canada where winters are extremely cold ,I b uy these for our homeless population who struggle to survive on the streets having to sleep outside on the frozen snow covered sidewalks or in tents and sdhelters thery have made when homeless shelters are full. I hand these emergency blsankets out to people and they are very thankful even thuough obviously these blankets are not the most cozy,quiet or comfortable things obviously ut they do serve a purpose and they do work ! = They save people from literally freezing to death🥶🥶 in sub zero temperatures even -30 Celcius ! Do a random act of kindness,buy these and pass them on to people who re in desperate need of help,they are affordable for mot and there's always someone in need of a helping hand. Worth every cent !\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

not intended use but...
Made really good window covers for the summer. Reflective material helps keep the sun and heat out. Thin material; can see through the window still.It makes a lot of noise. Also used to protect plants from cats. Very effective.Nice individual packaging. Small and convenient to store.
