I've been using this kettle for 10 years, daily use. It works very well, boils quickly. Today it failed to turn on, sad to see it go. I ordered the exact same model, since I can't do without it! It doesn't have anything fancy like specific water temperatures or a keep warm feature, which is great because I don't need those things. Just plain, simple, and works well.

I like the way it heats up quickly. It’s very easy to fill from my filter water in my refrigerator and that’s a really great feature. The only thing I dislike is that it doesn’t have a keep warm function, but it does shut itself off, which is helpful.

How did I manage without my "blue light special" electric kettle? lol! Looks nice on the counter, I like that it's clear so I can see how close the water is to boiling, the blue light is Not obnoxious, and the built in pouring screen is handy if you make tea right in the kettle. (I do not as the kettle then needs to be cleaned out.) I do like the idea that particle and/or bugs cannot get in the kettle between uses. I leave the lid open to dry out after using, then pop the lid down. Long enough cord, but not overly long. Very pleased!

This kettle will heat up your water, nice and fast for a quick easy cup of tea. About a weekend the base is already showing Rusty spots. This could be the water or something with the machine, but I had one prior and not the same brand did the exact same thing so we’ll see how it goes. I’ve only had it a few few weeks I will update.
