About this item:
Harris Bed Bug Traps use irresistible food lure to attract bed bugs. These traps should be used to detect bed bugs in your home or business and may be used on an ongoing basis in combination with other products. Additionally, if you have taken steps to eradicate bed bugs and would like to monitor their return and ensure that they are completely gone, the traps are a great, cost-effective option. Use these traps most effectively through the following steps: 1. Peel off protective paper 2. Fold the trap and insert the tab at the top to hold it together 3. Fold end flaps inward to form a 30 degree angle 4. Place traps near bed posts and in other locations where insects are likely to travel/hide. The bed bug killer traps are great to use in combination with a bed bug fogger, bed bug powder, bed bug interceptors, bed bug spray, bed bug bombs and bed bug mattress encasement covers to eliminate these bugs from your home.

Shows you exactly what you're dealing with but does not treat anything
5.0 out of 5 stars Not sure about bedbugs but definitely helps with spiders.
I had ordered these and several other products after there was a bedbug outbreak at work and I noticed bites and then found a singular molted shell on my bed. I obviously didn't have any kind of infestation because there were no signs of them on my bed anywhere or in any other furniture and after cleaning and spraying/treating and putting mattress covers on my bed I never got anymore bites or found any trace of them again, but I put these out as a precaution, and while I might not have bed bugs now that it's been taken care of, I do live in a rural area where pests like mice and spiders are very prevalent and I have tried for a long time to find something that would help take care of spiders for me. I only ordered about 8 of them, and every one I have used around the house has caught multiple spiders. I don't know exactly how they get in but based on the fact more seem to be caught when I place them under the windows I'd say some sort of cracks around them allow them to get in. My bed is right next to a window and this trap has been out for around a month and was sitting below my headboard which is both upsetting and comforting because at least these spiders got caught in the trap, but what if others didn't? Eww. Either way, I feel like they help some and give me a small bit of peace of mind.
1.0 out of 5 stars If I could return it I would
Unfortunately, the only way to know this doesn't work and needs to be returned, is to actually use them, and give them adequate time to work, thereby having nothing to return and going past the return deadline.I was starting to think maybe there weren't any bedbugs and something else was causing me to scratch like a demon all night long. Took about 2 weeks before I saw one, looked it up online and confirmed that I did in fact have at least one bed bug. So the trap didn't work, but surely the Harris spray would. HA!I figured that an entire company built on eradicating bed bugs would have the best products with which to do so. I was wrong. Though the severity decreased the problem persisted, and I found it intolerable, so I got the Ortho bed bug aerosol spray and haven't gotten a single bite since. These traps caught nothing in the whole month that I used them except an unfortunate spider.A complete waste of money.
4.0 out of 5 stars Work like a charm
After my kids hosted a friend who turned out to be a bed bug ambassador, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Enter these little guardians! I set them up as a precautionary measure, and let me tell you, my anxiety took a vacation. For months, I could breathe easy knowing those pesky bed bugs weren't crashing at our place. Sure, we didn’t have any bed bugs, but it turns out we’ve become a five-star hotel for spiders! At least they’re not biting, right?
3.0 out of 5 stars Buy the one with the lamp
Invest more, and buy the one with the lamp in it. It attracts way way more, like 10 times more so go for that instead. TBH this one is up for a week and not a single catch. My problem is tiny flees maybe for something else the results would be different.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for detection and monitoring your progress
I travel for work and despite all the precautions I take (checking the room before bringing anything inside, not putting my bag on the floor or bed, and all sorts of other stuff) but still somehow still ended up with these damn things in our house.Fortunately we realized we had them before the infestation spread beyond the one room. I wish there’s was a trap that could be baited or a poison they could eat and bring back to a nest but no such luck. Lots of spraying followed by a good cleaning, along with encasing the box springs and mattress in a protective cover (with lots of powered) helped.I’ve read several reviews concerning the stickiness, or lack there of but I didn’t have any problems with bugs sticking.Once we eliminated those we could we used these traps to monitor the eradication efforts and progress. The first one I used I set it up as instructed, and although it wasn’t difficult I decided to tear off the flaps on the remaining ones. By removing the flaps I was able to view them without picking them up to see if any bugs were stuck to the glue area. These aren’t traps, meaning they’re not going to eliminate the bugs or rid your home of these nightmarish creatures. The only thing these “traps” do is to let you know you haven’t rid yourself of all of them yet.
