5.0 out of 5 stars I replaced RuffGreens with this
I used Ruff Greens for several years, but being retired on limited income, I had a hard time affording it for my four dogs. Then I came across this and after reading the reviews, I decided to try it. My little fur babies took to it right away. I have a cereal container that I have their food in and after I refill it, I shake on a generous amount and then close the lid and shake it up to coat all the kibbles. That makes it easy to refill their dish. They are small breeds, so this works great. I ran out a while ago and hurried to re-order, but they had to go several days without it. I noticed they didn't eat as much when it was absent as when it was on! They are thriving while using this and no more bad doggy breath! It's great to know that they are getting the nutrition that they deserve, and their great health is evidence of that. I look forward to having them with us for many more years.
5.0 out of 5 stars Healthy and great flavor
My dogs are very picky eaters. Anything healthy that I purchase to add to their dinners has not met the quality their pallet needs. I finally found something they love and is good for them. We notice an improve in vitality and quality of their Coats. Highly recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great food topper
I make my own food and add this as a topper! My dogs love it and eat it all up!
4.0 out of 5 stars This is not a sub for vitamins for dogs who eat homemade meals
My dogs seem to really like this. I'm not sure that the value for the cost is there, but I will finish this container, which is the second I have purchased. This will not fill any nutritional requirements a dog has. If you are cooking your dog meals and only giving this as nutritional support, you need to look up the International Research Counsel and look into their recommendations. For example, this only provides 33.5 mg of calcium per 1 tsp. My 70 pound dog takes 3.5 tsp as per directions and only gets 117.25 mg of calcium from this product. Her daily requirement is 1,740 mg of calcium. She would be severely lacking if I believed that this would serve as an all-around nutritional supplement. If you feed commercial dog food, this isn't an issue. I feel like the labeling comes off as a bit misleading, and there should be something on the label to warn people that this is not a replacement for daily vitamin and mineral needs.
5.0 out of 5 stars Noticeable Improvement in Overall Health and Appearance
Very pleased with this product. My 3 dogs each get a teaspoon morning and evening, and all three are noticeably more energetic, shinier fur, and their vet checkups are excellent. Also, before using this supplement, all three dogs used spend a considerable amount of time, when outside, acting like goats eating select species of weeds, grasses, etc. They haven't been acting likes goats for quite some time now.Far less expensive than Ruff Greens, yet appears to be equally effective.
1.0 out of 5 stars My dog hates it
No matter how much I try and disguise these greens, my dog will not touch them. I have tried to put it in all types of different foods but he somehow sniffs it out.
3.0 out of 5 stars Trial in Progress.
(I gave this 3 stars for this will be a 2 part and I`m not sure if it will work or not just yet.) I got this for my 2 dogs and a dog I dog sit while her owner is at work. When I take the dogs out for walks, my 2 dogs belly up to the snack bar left on the dirt trail. Meaning, one eats dirt and a lot of horse manure and a little bit of rabbit droppings, and my other dog it`s reverse, and they all 3 eat the cat stuff too. I researched why dogs eat things they shouldn`t and the report said that the dogs aren`t getting the nutrients through dry dog food that they should. I mix a little wet dog food with a little bit of cut up vegetables mixed in the dry dog food, but due to the very small amount of vegetable mixed with their dog food, they don't get any nutrients. I have only been giving this to them for a few days now,so it may take a little while to notice any results. I did notice today that they jumped over a pile of horse manure and not even stopped to sniff, this could have been they were not interested today, but I will update later and give my thumbs up or thumbs down.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Product
I really like this powder of super greens for my dog. I sprinkle some on her food and she loves it.
Tried this on older dogs (one had bad liver, other had kidney issues)
Tried this on older dogs (one had bad liver, other had kidney issues). I think it actually helped them for a few months, but in the end they were both too far gone. I take greens powder daily myself.
