Good material (not like "stainless" on a Tesla) was a little quiter than I recall from years ago the 1st 1-2 uses now if you ignore if for a minute after boiling LOUD as heck. Exactly what I wanted.

It has a stay-cool handle and knob, encouraging you to pick it up by the handle bare handed. The handle folds down for storage. However, the first time I used it, I picked it up and started to pour and the kettle swiveled on the collapsible handle and burned the back of my knuckles holding the handle. While the idea of using a collapsible handle sounds great for storage, it allows the kettle to swing and pivot around the handle when being poured.

Kettle worked great on my induction stove for a year or so, then one day it developed a hairline fracture on the bottom so water would leak all over the stove. It’s fairly flimsy but high induction probably wore it out faster than normal.

Solid kettle, suitable for camping
I bought this kettle to use on my camping trips. It's a decent size, large enough to make tea and coffee on trips where we have a large group. The whistle means I don't have to watch it boil and I have used this kettle both on a gas burgher and hanging from a tripod over an open fire. When hanging over the fire I haven't had any issues with the handle melting.
