I read the reviews and saw pics. But I still took a chance to review it for myself!I've been needing a new kettle and I don't like electric ones. This fit the bill and is sleek and nice. It seems durable for now. My old one got kinda rusty,I hope this stainless steel holds up but I'm not too hopeful as most tarnish and turn a copper color. I washed it and made sure the whistle makes noise. It's not too loud or too low. It's just right! It works perfectAnd the handle doesn't get hot and burn your hands. I'm glad I took a chance. No regrets on this purchase! I didn't expect much since it was inexpensive but it's perfect for me!

it's so pretty and it heats up the water but the whistler is not loud at all...if I am not standing nearby, I will not hear it from another room - I am so disappointed- I was so anxious to hear it whistle that I let my water boil for 10 minutes the first time.addendum - had to go back and re-rate this pretty tea kettle - after about 4 days of no whistling, I could tell a difference when the water was heating up - sounded like popcorn popping and after 5 minutes, the tea kettle WHISTLED!!!!!! I was so happy. I had read, that maybe I needed to blow out the whistler area and so I did that on day 3...I am one happy customer!

Se ve de muy buena construcción y excelentes materiales. Despues de haber calentado el agua en ella pasan horas y sigue manteniendola a temperatura (no se enfria rapidamente como otras). Me encanto
