I wasn't too happy about the price for a small container at first, but I was desperate for relief and this was recommended to my by my midwife, who I trust quite a bit. It was a great relief for not only my nipples, but also a great substitute chapstick in a pinch. My baby doesn't mind nursing even when it hasn't completely absorbed into my skin yet. And best part is that I don't have to worry about anything in it being a danger to him.

Love all Earth Mama products I have tried and this is no exception. Works, smells great and I have no concern if bub ingests some whole feeding. Only issue with EM products like this is container/dipping fingers into the tubs. Firstly for hygiene but also for ease of getting the profit out, tubes would be better.

Recommend to all nursing moms! Great smell and safe for baby to ingest if there is still some on during a feed. I put this on after every feed and pump session in the first month and it helped so much!

Life saver
This was recommended to me by other moms on the Peanut app when I complained about sore nipples. This stuff is awesome, I exclusively pump and I put it on before I pump and it helps make the 30 minute session very tolerable, and painless. Highly suggest getting this if you are struggling with breastfeeding due to the pain.
Life changing when nursing
I had to use a prescription ointment (APNO) on nipples in the early days of breastfeeding and at intervals afterwards. I also used lanolin regularly. Once I found this product I never used either the APNO or lanolin again. This stuff is amazing. Have also used it for scratches on baby’s skin, and on rashy cheeks/chin from teething. Using it on my lips as well. Will buy this again, even after I’m done with breastfeeding. Still using original pot of nipple butter after 5 months, and plenty left.
Helps to pump
This product is great for pumping. The only reason I’m giving this a four star on five star is because it’s a bit grainy and it hurts to put on sore nipples sometimes.
