I purchased this to cut our basement door and fit a "cat door" into it. It worked great and did exactly what I needed it to. I'm not too familiar with why there are different pieces and there was no explanation in the packaging but it wasn't anything I couldn't search for online.

This is a good core set of blades for use with a DeWalt oscillating tool or any similar tool that is compatible with DeWalt blades. I bought the kit because it came with two of the blades that will cut through wood with nails. These blade work well but they do wear out over time. I also wanted the bigger blade. I don't know the name but I call it a 'flush cut' blade and it works great. The scraper blade wasn't on my radar, but when I got it, I found it worked well for removing paint that had bubbled over time on exterior wood work. Over all, I think it was a good purchase as compared to buying blades individually.

I own two sets of oscillating tool blades. The first set consists of inexpensive off brand blades that I use on my construction/dirty projects. Those blades are considered disposable. Then, for my finer interior or project work I have these blades. They are not disposable (much pricier) hence not using them on rough, abusive projects. They have worked well for interior trim and furniture repair type applications. The case takes up a lot of space for what it stores and is a bit annoying to use.
A case of badass
All you could need, as a DIY' er.Cuts like butter through any of your needs.After an ice storm. Then, a rainstorm, that destroyed my furnished basement in Canada. You all know what I mean, if you lived here.This made all of my jobs, drywall, electrical boxes, foundation nails, steel panelals. Whatever. It cuts easily, and accurately.Get it for your dewalt multi-tool.You won't be disappointed!

Very good product. Case is excellent quality and good selection of blades. I’m not sure why everyone is complaining about the big blade not fitting in the case. Just remove the long insert and it fits, you also get extra room for other bits like the sanding block if you have one! Brilliant dewalt!
sufficient starter set
Nice starter set, but soon you will need more blades variants. Some complaints about the box for cannot fit the semi-circle blade ... well it seems dewalt want us to do the first project witht the blades to make that semi-sircle baldes fit into the box ... just need a bit creativity (no brainer for DIY'er); It indeed can fit nicely in the box ;)
