I am very particular with my towels and these are great! I washed them first with Downey. They are soft and dried me great! Worth the money! Wash cloths are also great.

It's a medium tier towel with enough thickness to know you'll wipe off all the water.Texture isn't the best, kind of rough, but it's effective if being super soft isn't that big of a deal to you.Appearance is pretty and color matches to photo.Size is more than enough for a few shower towels and hand towels.Durability seems good and no strings anywhere and doesn't feel like it'll fall apart at all. It gives good stability for some quick and easy use towels.

The color of the hunter green is a beautiful deep emerald. The fabric is thick and absorbent. One of the bath towels had a large vertical flaw and one of the washcloths had loose threads on one of the seams, but the seller has rectified the situation. For the price, definitely worth it.

Got a set of these (Utopia) to replace some 20+ year old towels (Cannon Royal Family) that started fading and had some minor fraying just beginning. After just a few months of using these "new" Utopia towels, there are already some loops and edges fraying that didn't show up in the older (other brand) towels for over 15 yrs.I'm disappointed with the quality of the Utopia towels. Not that fraying won't happen, just not within the 1st year of use.Perhaps it is a matter of taste, but the density of the loops in the Utopia towels are noticeably thicker and it feels like they don't dry as well. They are more "plush" feeling, but don't grab the water like the older Cannon towels.If I was mostly happy with the older towels, why replace them? Had some important house guests coming, so I wanted some fresh, new, towels. Also the Cannon wash cloths were clearly in need of replacement. Found a reputable review site that said the Utopia towels were a good value, so watched for a good price for a few months before seeing a good price. I have to say, the Utopia wash cloths ARE excellent - well, so far.As with many long term purchases. The true value of these towels cannot really be judged after just 1 yr. 10 yrs from now, we will have more real-world data for judgement.

The color was close enough to what was shown. Material was very sold and comfortable. Only concern is that light shines through the towel. For the price I am not expecting to last my lifetime, but am concerned about how many washes it will last through.
