Great value for the price. Cold mornings /evenings = cold lotion. Which can be an uncomfortable experience. What an inexpensive way to warm the lotion not too hot, not too cold. An in 2 minutes. No longer dreading using cold lotion on a back applicator. How it holds up over time or does the nozzle clog time will tell.
5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer in the winter
I have to lotion up after every shower, and it was so uncomfortable with cold lotion. I turn this on just before my shower; it is nice and warm by the time I am out. It is the greatest thing ever. It warms the lotion in cycles. I turn mine off after I am done, or it continues to warm the lotion. The instructions on how to use it are very clear. I am also going to give it as a gifts for Xmas.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loveeeeee this
My friends made fun of me for buying this but it’s winter and I get warm lotion after my shower and it warms up and stays warm. I’m a very happy camper.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great lotion warmer
I really enjoy this lotion warmer. Plug it in when I get in the shower and lotion is ready for me when I get out. The dial on the top tells me how warm I want the lotion. Well worth the money. Use caution because if you drop it, it might not work again. A little metal bead comes out and it won’t pump. I say it is still worth it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Little luxury
Adding warm lotion to my routine makes me feel so luxurious. Durable, easy to clean and use.
1.0 out of 5 stars Works...Mostly - UPDATED
The Pro's-It warms the lotion and it's not a weak piddly warmth.-The instructions are easy to read and understand, while still making the very necessary hazards and safety points.-It's not a no-name mystery brand, it's a brand I know and trust. The Con's-It seems very temperamental, it works 50% of the time when plugged in, sometimes it lights up and works and sometimes it doesn't. Despite being brand new the cord seems to be touchy, which is a little concerning considering all the safety warnings.-The pump is garbage. Prime it all day, you get 3 weak squirts of lotion and then that’s it unless you take it apart to try and fix it, which is really fun when you’re butt naked and now have very greasy hands.-If you drop it, lotion is going to go everywhere and I feel like the plastic housing will crack. I say this because the slide lock on the lid is weak, it takes no effort at all to slide it into unlock to the point where I'm really careful moving it with two hand because I don't trust the lid to stay on.-It is not compatible with all lotions. The thicker the lotion the less this will work. This isn't totally unexpected, but it's still a bit of a bummer.-I know the brand and am now really disappointed in a brand I’ve trusted and used for years.Overall, I don't recommend it at this price point, for what is it and how temperamental is it, $30.00 is outrageous. I’m mad I wasted money on it. What a disappointment.Spend the extra $10-20 and get something with consistently decent reviews, don’t waste your time and heartbreak on this .
5.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised
I’ve owned this lotion warmer since Valentine’s Day and my entire family enjoys it. It works well, heats up quickly, and to just the right temperature. It does what it advertises.A number of reviews here puzzle me.First, it heats up about three full squirts worth of lotion at a time. While I’m not a biologist, it’s likely to keep bacteria from growing or spoiling the unused lotion in the tub if it was to continuously heat up the entire tub.Second, the light apparently only comes on when it’s actively heating. So yes, the light goes out. Give it some time after using it and it’ll come on again if it remains plugged in. It will heat more up.Third, it’s made for lotion, as stated in the description. Creams are evidently too thick.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good little unit but one flaw…
This has been reliable and easy to use; with one big hitch…the straw that feeds the pump inside the unit is too short! Halfway (or less!) through the tank and it no longer works because the pump can’t reach the lotion in the bottom half of the unit. Perhaps it needs to be shorter than most due to the heater being housed in the top of the unit but I can’t see why…PLEASE lengthen the internal pump action straw. Please send me one when you do!
This is not designed to operate in the UK, or in ANY EU country!
How is this product allowed to be listed on Bolo UK? It comes with a US/Canada plug and is very clearly labeled for 110v 60Hz power. Plug this in with an adapter in Europe and watch it catch fire!! To add insult to injury, after waiting three weeks for delivery, I have to pay return shipping to get a refund. This is NOT suitable for 220v 50Hz power. Nowhere on the Bolo UK listing does it state that it is for North American use ONLY!
sooo warm to put on lotion in the winter!
I love this so much! You pour body lotion into the container. In the morning you can turn it on and it heats up lotion in a couple of minutes. Soooo nice to put on in the winter!! It only heats what is in the cap, not the entire container of lotion. Works great!!
hmm.. the light flicking..
The media could not be loaded. Hmm.. the red light is flicking.. can supplier contact me? it doesnt stay heat up? should i submit for replacement?
Lotion warmer
Have used this for years…sad when mine stopped working but Bolo to the rescue! Would recommend it. Lotion warms in 2 minutes…you use less lotion when warmed up…win win!
Works great no more cold lotion
So I bought this for my young daughter, who kept complaining that the lotion was always cold. She’s extremely ecstatic now that the lotion is always warm. I have noticed that it will warm up, shut off and then periodically click off and on. I think that is just to make sure the lotion stays nice and warm as it takes a little while to do her lotion. I do find though that the lotion we use does become quite watery when warmed, so just take note of that, especially if your lotion is runny/thinner when it’s cold. The only thing that would make this better is if it was an automatic dispenser. It’s kind of annoying having to press the big top down all the time but it works. It does occasionally drip when it’s on, but it’s a very tiny spot.
