I decided to purchase this Colibri cutter because the reviews were positive and I wanted to see what all of the hype was all about on the V-cut.It is a well constructed, premium product. It functions perfectly and cuts the "V" into the cigar nicely. I usually smoke robustos or similar ring gauge, so haven't tried it on smaller cigars.I like the cutter, it feels solid in the hand and does its job. Is it expensive? Of course! But if you're buying premium cigars, get a premium cutter.BTW, this is my new fav cutter out of all of the other types.

Nice V cut for your cigar. Can cut too deep on smaller ring gauges so be cautious. Calibri is an excellent quality brand. Cutter has a nice weight to it as well. Not made cheaply.

I bought this as a gift for my husband whom loves the double cut this provides when you cut it once then again across. He has been very happy with the results. We visited his cigar lounge to watch football recently and one of his friends had the same one just in a different color. He claims it works very well and does whatever fancy cut he prefers.

I have numerous cigar cutters including Xikar, which is a good brand. When researching V cutters, Colibri kept coming up again and again as the best option and I have to say that I agree. It's a heavy, well made item and it makes a nice, clean, deep cut in the cigar. You can't go wrong with this cutter.
