This is the best I've found for bug bites that itch like crazy. Creams do not work, and cortisone does not. Benadryl Anti Itch Gel cools and calms the itch, and bug bites seem to go away faster.

I got poison ivy for the first time in my life and I have been miserable for the last two weeks. My legs have been itching like crazy! But this stuff is freaking great! I exfoliate both legs with a sugar scrub morning and night (which feels amazing!) then rinse with cool water. I pat them dry and then rub this gel all over each leg. It keeps the itch away all day and then all night. This is the second bottle I’ve purchased. I will be sure to have this stuff on hand as it really does work. Highly recommend.

I have been itchy all over for some reason, and have been trying every product under the sun. I use this and it seems to begin to work almost immediately. It comes out of the tube fast, so be prepared, and it is very watery, so it may get everywhere. When applied, it rubs in nicely, and again, provides pretty good itch relief. I am glad I bought this product.

I am pleasantly surprised by this anti-itch cream. I have a big problem with mosquito and tick bites, I get huge red welts and itch for about a week with each bite, and bugs just adore me so I'm always looking for help with itching and I can't take antihistamines and hydrocortisone cream doesn't work that well so I wanted to give this a try. First impression is that it does have a bit of a smell to it but that evaporates quickly as the product dries, it does take about a minute to dry though but it works pretty darn well on getting itchiness to clear up pretty quickly and for quite a while.Cons: This says its a gel, but its a very thin gel, its so thin that when I was holding the tube upside down to dispense it onto my hand it was leaking out of the tube onto the bathroom floor.

I'm constantly getting mosquito bites on my ankles as I live in a place surrounded by greenery. I have tried so many different products to relieve itching and after being up for hours one night unable to get relief from a handful of bites I ordered this product to try something new. It works fantastic! And it works fast. It's not oily like cortizone or other lotions. It has a consistency more like aloe vera which I like because it dries fast. It stops the itching quick and leaves a cooling sensation where applied. I highly recommend.

At first, I was just looking for a cream that would treat/improve bug bites (maybe something like Cortizone?). It's been a few years since I badly needed something similar but when I started a position at work where I only work outside at night, turns out my legs are a super delicious meal for the mosquitos and even though I could kill 50 mosquitos a night, they keep returning and I can't stop them all. Once they get my legs, the itching is neverending. It gets so bad, my co-workers and manager even feel itchy looking at me itch myself.I DIDN'T KNOW HOW MUCH I NEEDED THIS ITCH CREAM UNTIL I PURCHASED IT.I've been using it for two months so far and oh my goth, it's INSTANT relief. On top of that, it's an easy-to-apply clear gel that dries up within a few minutes so I don't have to continue exposing my skin, for fear of the gel clinging to my clothes when I roll the sleeves down.I also recently went to an outside festival and ended up getting a slight sunburn, which hardly ever occurs for me. The sunburn didn't hurt at first, since it appears more like a tan, but then I started slightly itching it until the scratching increased and it started feeling like a burning, stinging, itchy sensation. Since I hardly receive sunburns, I couldn't think of anything at home that would help (If I don't own sunscreen, I probably wouldn't have anything to help sunburns either). This itch cream immediately went to mind and once I put it on, the burning/stinging/itchy sensation instantly disappeared.A cooling, instant-relieving product that dries up quickly and is fairly inexpensive? HECK YEAH I'LL BUY THIS AGAIN!The only CON I have with this product is the squirt function/container. Unlike other general tubes where the cream is squeezed out, this Benadryl Anti-Itch Cream LEAKS out the tube when you open it. So if the tube/container is upright or if the cap is not securely snapped shut, the gel drips out of the tube/container like a leaking faucet so it's a little annoying to put on certain hard-to-reach areas because I have to lather it on my hands first before I can apply it to someplace like my back.Otherwise, I'm very happy with this product.

While I think the Benadryl tablets and capsules are helpful for allergy relief, the "anti" itch gel is not effective. To be fair, it may not work for my specific itches related to some rashes I have. I think my itches are allergy-related. However, I may simply need to see my dermatologist and upgrade to something stronger. For the issues the product noted, it may work just fine. However, I did not even have a few minutes of relief using this product, which was disappointing. Also, the gel leaves a bit of residue if you use it multiple times throughout the day.
