My cats love this dry cat food. They know the difference when I run out they turn up their noses to whatever I offer them. Ax soon as I order this food & it arrives my cats do a happy dance in front of their bowls. Plus it does make them have the perfect weight. No more overweight cats 🐈⬛

I find Science Diet to be a consistently beneficial food for my cat. I raised a former cat on this feed based on the recommendation of my vet and she lived to be 18 years old with very few health problems - only dry Science Diet (various varieties as she grew older). For my current pet (an adult rescue cat of 7 years old) she gained weight the first year - stress eating a likely culprit. A different vet, this time, recommended Science Diet "light".... but it turned out the current labelling/branding by Science Diet meant using the Adult Perfect Weight food. Over the course of a year, she lost almost 2 pounds to bring her to her appropriate weight. She also liked the food immediately - no introduction problems. It also seemed that the smaller pieces made it easier to chew. All in a this is a great food and has improved the health of my new little cat animal. (Note: I do not feed her a small amount two times a day, but just leave a full food dish out for her at all times and she manages when she wants to eat or not. Other cats may not self manage, but my cat does and it makes it very easy to keep her healthier. Now that she is at the appropriate weight, the vet suggested I can use limited treats to start shaping her behavior. I highly recommend this food. I have never fed my cat pets any other brand and find that it is worth the price (Note: When I first got my rescue cat Cleo, she came with the remains of a large bag of grocery store dry cat food. I don't remember the brand, but the food was different shapes and colors. She literally spit out the small green colored bits. Odd, but a definite culinary commentary. Once I introduced her to Science Diet, over a short period of time her fur grew shinier and her food anxieties vanished. All cats are different, of course, but mine has clearly shown her preference for the Science Diet. After 2 years of this cat food, her fur continues to be glossy and she has more energy. Perhaps part of that is the cat just becoming comfortable in her new home and relaxing. At least with the science diet, she never spits out the food as she did with the multi-colored store brand. Try it. ask your Vet. Your cat(s) will approve.

I started this brand, and type in particular, because all of my 4 cats were getting tubby. They had been eating Iams, but gaining weight. This Science Diet stuff claims to help them loose weight. They might be almost undetectably thinner. I assume weight loss in indoor cats is always slow. But all 4 happily crunch on this stuff. And it has adorable heart-shaped pieces. I also love the easy velcro closure.The only con would be that it's a bit pricey, but I assume/hope that means the ingredients are premium.

I switched them from another science diet formula for sensitive stomachs, and had no issues. My kitties need to loose some weight which was why I choose this. So far, I've noticed a difference in their appetite and overall coat health. They seem to be satisfied for much longer and are eating less than before. I highly recommend giving this a try!

Switched from a blue buff___ catfood that had both my cats putting on weight, and so far so good with this one. Admittedly they didn’t go crazy and love this food right out of the bag— so maybe that is part of the reason the now obese cat is starting to trim down.She is eating it fine. And her health seems to be better.I’ll update any other changes. I wanted to try a diabetic or weight control cat food that is RX only and am not putting these girls thru the extreme stress of the vet.So this was my next option and so far so good… optimistic. Please update your reviews if you can as well. It’s very helpful!

Le empecé a dar estas croquetas porque estaban medio pasados de peso, ya que subieron mucho con otras croquetas. Me las recomendó el veterinario y hasta ahora llevan como unas 3 o 4 semanas y he visto que se han mantenido en peso, sin subir y se empieza a bajar un poco esa panceta que tenían, han estado más activos y sus heces no huelen tanto, se recogen más fácil. La volvería a comprar sin duda, y esa bolsa les alcanza bien a mis gatos, rinde bien obviamente dándoles las porciones que les corresponden.
