Our family doctor recommended that we add this to my oldest daughters pills at night to help with her insomnia. So now we are all taking on of these at night. Be aware that meletonin works great the first time you use it, then will seem like it's doing nothing. It does that. Anyway, I have noticed I am able to wake up not to dang tired in the mornings, I can get up earlier and I actually feel tired at night at a decent time. So as for me and my 14 yr old it's working great. Not so sure if it's helping 17yr old but were not going to discontinue. The doctor said we needed to use the time release version because it helps you stay asleep at night after the outer layer makes you tired. It actually does work much better then the regular version meletonin. I would say even if you dont feel a difference right away, just keep taking it.

This is the best melatonin that I have found out there. The time release is what makes it work so wonderfully, as well as being really decent quality. I have severe insomnia from my numerous brain, spinal cord, orthastatic and connective tissue disorders. I can stay up for 50-70 hours every month, and up to 48 hours every two weeks. The only way I can get by with having less of these episodes is by taking this melationin with the time release. I know it is all natural which in combination with my sleep pills is very helpful. On it's own the sleeping medicine will not put me to sleep but together, it works. I have recommended this melationin to a lot of people. My mother and boyfriend use it now too.

This helps so much when I go to sleep. I don't know about the time release function on it, I'm not a doctor and I wake up during the night but I've always had a lot of trouble sleeping so I wouldn't count that as the standard. I personally take two but this one pill is the standard dose for most people and it works wonders for my husband.

My sleep is typically pretty solid, whereas my husband sleeps badly and wakes up if he hears grass growing outside. We have both found that by taking this melatonin before bedtime, our sleep improves. It's sounder and more likely to be that luxurious deep, black, velvet variety that really allows us to wake up refreshed. My sleep is still better than my husband's, but the quality of both is better relative to what it is without the melatonin.As with most things, this isn't a silver bullet and isn't going to overcome the effects of too much caffeine or alcohol, heartburn, or any of the other terrible things we occasionally do to our bodies and sleep. But all things being equal, this is a great sleep enhancer to use nightly.

Too much vitamin B can give you nerve damage. It's odd that the ingredients are no longer shown with this product. Only the inactive ingredients? This certainly isn't a seller trying to be honest, especially since it contains a potentially dangerous vitamin at high levels.

I got the Melatonin 5 mg time release tablets primarily for my husband. He's always been one who wakes up several times at night. We are both older. After taking these (2 tablets) nightly for the past 2 weeks, he now wakes up only once and then falls back to sleep until morning. I find that I, too, sleep better. Melatonin is a natural product which we both like. Best of all it works for us. And the price is certainly more than reasonable. If you have trouble staying asleep at night, you should give this a try. I didn't even know melatonin came in a time release until I found it on Bolo. Thanks Bolo and OxCom!
