We bought three of these five years ago. At a later time, we bought another brand of mat at a lower price for the other part of the kitchen. The less expensive mat began to deteriorate; and I decided to purchase the 6 foot New Life mat to match the other three. The new mat arrived and the color match was perfect. We've been very pleased with the quality. The mats serve us well for relieving back pain, which was the initial reason we sought a quality mat. During the years when I did wear heels, I was mindful not to step on the mats.

I'd buy these again. They are very comfortable to stand on, they clean fairly easily, and they don't slide around on our bamboo floors. I had really old GelPro mats that had a thin, flat fringe/edge all around which curled up after getting wet. We'd constantly trip on those edges. These don't suffer the same flaw, because of the way the mat is constructed. They do get dirty pretty easily, so regular washing is a must. Because the mats are smooth, cleaning is easy; there are no crevices for dirt or crumbs to get lodged in. After several months, these are still in great shape. I like the long warranty just in case.

I've had this mat for several months now and I give this mat 4 stars because it does really help ease the tension in my lower back as I stand to do the dishes. I chose this particular model for it's smooth surface. I've had another gel mats prior to this one that is lighter in color (beige) with a basket weave pattern. Although that mat lasted quite a few years, it was hard to maintain (cleanliness) as dirt gets trapped into the "weave" of the mat. Since it was beige, it was very noticeable. So far, this mat is great with it's dark color to hide any dirt, it's real easy to clean with it's smooth surface. I bought two different sizes: a smaller one for the kitchen sink and a longer one to be placed near the stove. Since they are very cushioned, I had to get used to how thick they are on the edges especially when stepping off the mat.I didn't give this product 5 stars because I actually had to return it once for manufacturer defect as the first mat came with parts of the edges and the back missing. It was as if "chunks" were torn off of it. The condition of the second one was slightly better and I decided that there is no perfect mat. The edges weren't perfect but really not that bad. Again, so far, the quality of these mats are pretty decent. I do hope they last as long as my previous ones...if so, then I think it is worth the money.

Bought two different sizes, one fit between my sink and island, which was perfect! Fit just right to allow me to enjoy the mat in two very important places with one Mat. They are more expensive but you will see the huge difference in quality, both comfort and safety. The better Mat, because the product used adheres to the floor so well, I no longer have to worry about tripping on my kitchen mats anymore. This was a trial of wit, cost and finding the right product.The second Mat I bought smaller for in for of my refrigerator. Perfect.Believe it or not, I tried fabric covered fatigue mats, at $40 each small mat, then I realized I was spending more money trying to save money. Then I tried the "gel foam type, still too cheap and didn't hold to the floor so a tripping hazard.Finally researched and went for the New Life Gel pro and I am happy ! No tripping, complete comfort and easy upkeep on the cleaning side.Well Done you guys!!!! Well Done!My advice, save the hassle and headache, and spend the money from the start, I was so happy to have finally got it right.

We've had these mats in our kitchen for about 6 months and we love them. We got them to replace the rugs that we had on the floor which did virtually nothing to reduce/prevent any foot, leg, or back pain. These mats make a huge difference. Last year, my legs and feet were killing me after we made Thanksgiving dinner. I even wore cushioned flip-flops which helped some, but not nearly enough. This year, I had these cushions, AND I was about 4 months pregnant, so you'd think it would've been worse, but I felt fine. These are super comfortable to stand on, and they seem well-made. Other gel mats that I've seen in stores seem like they would be a tripping hazard because it looked like the edges could curl up, but these are very solid and sturdy. They also look great and stay clean looking. I was worried that they would look show dirt, especially since they are black, but they rarely look dirty, and it's easy to wipe them down with a wet paper towel. They do get crumbs underneath them, so you will need to wipe underneath them too occasionally.

I was a little disappointed when this item arrived, as the picture showed it to be a fairly light "stone" color but in actuality it is at least a medium brown shade. I thought maybe I had been sent the wrong color, but the packaging indicated the color to be stone. I had chosen this particular one partly because of the "stone" color. However, I decided to keep it and am pleased with it despite it being a darker color. It is very well made and I think it will last a long time. I have it in my bathroom. It is heavenly to have this soft mat under my feet. Pricey but worth it. Now I wish the floors in my WHOLE HOUSE were made of this same material!

I purchased this mat because of the rather hard to find size 36x60 every other mat the largest was 24x72. Now a 36x72 would have been even better but I will take my blessing as they come. I put it in between my island sink and stove which had more room than a usual galley kitchen it fit perfect i never have to leave the mat to cook or clean. It feels good also, very thick and sturdy not just a puff of rubberized air.

I've worked in the restaurant industry for a few decades and know the importance of a good mat if you're standing all day.After searching I decided to go with this option even though its priced higher than others and man its worth it.I feel like Im standing on a cloud and with 3 kids to feed I spend a ton of time in the kitchen.Deff worth the price!
Amazing All Around
I love the size of this mat, the fact that it is wipeable clean and doesn't absorb moisture, stains or odours. The Brushed Earth colour is a refreshing change from black and grey. I wish I could cover my entire kitchen work area with this mat! Definitely worth the money and a recommendation to anyone. Thank you for a great product!!

Gel-Pro "New Life" 36 x 60 Mat
I received this terrific mat today (1 day sooner than expected) and, thankfully, the box was sized to fit the mat rolled up. Very easy to open box and remove mat. Mat was wrapped perfectly in plastic wrap (just like Saran wrap) and as the mat unfolded the plastic wrap gently fell away - no sticky tape used at all! Because of the size, the mat is fairly heavy but I'm a female senior and it was very easy to unroll it and place it where I'll be using it. I'm using it as an exercise mat and my feet insist on lots of "firm cushion" which this mat delivers in spades. All sides of the mat slope downward which makes it stay in place. You don't have to worry about tripping on the edges or having the mat slide across the floor. I also have a Gel-Pro mat in my bathroom in front of the vanity and what a difference it makes on my poor old feet. Should have bought it years ago! And yes, I have a mat in front of my kitchen sinks and counter too. Gel-Pro is premium priced but for good reason.....extremely well made and provides maximum cushion and comfort. I'm a firm believer in buying excellent quality products because in this case you really do get what you pay for.
