I am so looking forward to using this deep conditioner for my hair again tonight. My hair suffers from coloring treatments at the salon so after I use regular shampoo & conditioner my hair is still frizzy looking so after being recommended by someone to try this deep conditioner after shampooing my hair,it was wonderful to use. My hair was now soft ,no longer frizzy,and easy to style. The jar is actually bigger than I expected, well packaged and so soft and easy to glide through your hair, read directions because the product recommends you leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing,I didn't have 10 minutes to wait and my hair still became manageable and looks wonderful again!

I started researching hair masks towards the end of my 2-week vacation since in order to bring less, I didn't bring my own shampoo and conditioner and was just using what the hotels provided. Well, my hair definitely felt the difference and after 2 weeks of it, it felt like it was needing some major help. Bought this, used it a couple times and my hair felt amazing. Every once in awhile, I'll use it in place of conditioner just to give my hair a boost and I love it. I also really like the smell, it seems nostalgic of something, but that's just me. As reference, I have very straight hair, the kind where you have to put tons of hairspray to even give hope that it'll hold a curl.

My very wavy and fine gray hair had become lifeless looking with its new texture and I had frizzies all over. I only left my Briogeo Don’t Despair in for 7 minutes with a timer set in the shower. Should’ve started with 4 or 5. It’s too soft now and I can’t do much with it right now. But my frizzies are all but gone.

it’s a good hair mask that leaves my hair moisturized! i’ve been getting my hair balayaged for almost a decade and it makes my hair soft and shiny. my curly hair friend loves this mask too!

I have 3c/4a the curls. I bought this product a few months ago and was looking for something to repair some damage. I saw a little of a difference but to be honest, you can get way better products for cheaper prices. Even my at home oil treatments I make myself work better. I will say, it leaves my hair veryyyy soft and smooth and hydrated to the point where I could just rinse it out after shampoo and wear no other products all day. I’m not necessarily saying it doesn’t repair damage, just that it’s super overpriced for how little of a difference is there.For quality, not liquidity or thick, kinda in between. Me and my sister shared this bottle and got a good 10 uses (5 each) in total. Although our hair is medium length, we have thicker hair so it ran kinda quickly. Product was okay not bad.Recommendations: I’ve been just buying jojoba oil (or you can buy any organic carrier oils such as coconut oil, rosehip oil, grapeseed oil) and you can choose to heat it up for a few seconds or leave it alone up to you. Let it sit in your hair for an hour to two hours and then wash hair. This is so super yet so effective so try this for a start.

I love most Briogeo products so I was excited to try deep conditioning hair mask! I have used it 3 times so far and can say my hair has never felt softer! I have used it once while I was oiling my roots and let it sit on my hair for 2-3 hours before washing and twice in the shower after double shampooing and left it on for a minimum of 10 mins before rinsing out with warm (not hot!) water. This is easily becoming one of my fav hair masks. I got the small size test before buying the full size. It is pretty small, smaller than I was expecting. Would recommend trying for a great hair mask!

I have fine, blonde hair that I have highlighted twice a year for a natural sun kissed look and I live in an area with hard water. I have a water softener and filter and I am on a constant search for the best conditioner for my hair because it always feels tangly. I have tried so many different brands over the years recommended by stylists and on my own (Oribe, Living Proof, Amika Soul Food, Fakkai Mask, Olapkex and many, many more). I stumbled upon Fekkai’s masks on a trip in Alaska because my hair was extra, super dry there and fell in love with how amazing my hair felt. Then during the pandemic in 2020 they stopped making it then rereleased it and the ‘new formula’ is horrible! So I retried both Oribe masks and they were terribly drying. I tried Amika Soul Food and it smells great and is the best I have found so far. After reading reviews, I thought I’d try Don’t Dispair to see if it could make my hair happy like Fekkai used to but it’s a hard NOPE. If your hair is fine like mine, don’t waste your money. This stuff is thin and watery. I would not even classify it as a mask. It is weak and made my hair very, very dry and stiff. I tried leaving it on for 10 minutes and also overnight plus the regular use , like a conditioner since I spent the money I was hoping it would work for something but it’s going to my boys or the trash. The Olaplex 5 is much more of a mask than this stuff. For reference, I currently use Olaplex shampoo(4), Condtioner (5) and Olaplex 3 and I alternate in Amika Soul Food and Olaplex 5 as my conditioner. I also use Fanola No Yellow once a week mixed with Olaplex 3 to keep out any gold or brassy tones. I hope this review saves someone who has hair like mine from spending money on this. Try Soul Food. It’s thick and smells nice and will make your hair feel much softer than Don’t Despair. Don’t Despair is like using a drug store brand so save your money. Look elsewhere.

I have very thin, fine hair that’s wavy/loose curls and had never used any products to take care of it so it was very frizzy and damaged even though I never use heat or dye. It would get very dry and I had split ends right up to my root, so I used this to try to help repair some of that and help with the dryness. I’ve only used it a few times up until now, but it has helped so much!! The fragrance isn’t too strong and doesn’t linger or leave a strong smell in my hair which I like because I’m a bit sensitive to strong fragrances, and it made my hair so soft and genuinely has reduced the frizz so much, and hopefully over time it will help repair the split ends a bit too! I highly recommend and definitely will be buying again, so worth it
