This product disperses rapidly to establish a chlorine protection quickly. It stabilizes pool water and extends the life of the disinfectant. Use a reliable test kit to determine the stabilizer concentration in the pool water. Follow the included chart to bring the pool water to the desired range of 40-100 ppm. If the pool is new, just refilled, or has no stabilizer; add 4 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons to give the desired range of 40-100 ppm. Add this product slowly into the skimmer, or if desired, premix in a pail of warm water and then add directly to the skimmer. Be sure the filter is clean. Recirculate the water continuously for 24 hours to dissolve completely. Always maintain the chlorine residual in your pool at 2.0-4.0 ppm and pH at 7.4-7.6.

Much less expensive than anywhere else, but does not dissolve that easily. Tried a bucket with hot water, but had to stir it for ten minutes to even get it partially dissolved. Pool water temp was 78 degrees, so I tried just putting it in and brushing it around. After two days, it's finally dissolved and I can put our robot back in.

Works great and is way cheaper than local pool store. I get these somewhat frequently in the summer (more sun and more rain lead to stabilizer being used up) and never had any complaints

Much cheaper and easier to find/get than buying from our local pool stores. It would be nice if the bag was resealable (like a ziplock) but I put the unused in a labeled container. I will definitely buy this again.

For the amount you get you can't beat the price it's way cheaper on here than at the pool stores. I place inside a stocking or a sock and toss in my skimmer basket. It dissolves slow which is how it's supposed to be really do keep my chlorine levels stable. I have tried the Clorax brand and this one is better and cheaper.

I always dissolve CYA by pouring some of it into a stocking and hanging it on the ladder, but this product never completely dissolved. It may be cheaper per pound, but it definitely doesn’t dissolve as well as other brands I’ve used.
