I won’t post photos on this one to avoid triggering anyone with hemophilia. That said, this kit works exactly as advertised and allowed me to determine my exact blood type. This information is something everyone should have in case of an emergency, and I’m glad that a product exists to allow people to do so at home at a good value for money. I didn’t have any issues using the lancet, but the kit comes with two of them in case of user error. There are instructions on paper along with video instructions when needed, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this kit to anyone looking to determine their blood type easily and effectively.

I don't know why I thought this would just be putting a drop of blood on a card, but essentially once you wade through all the instructions it actually is just putting a drop of blood on a card (four times with a drop of water too). Fast results and easy if you don't get lost in the instructions' verbiage. I already knew my blood type, but for whatever reason my mother announced at Christmas dinner my blood type was O (it's not) and I figured I'd better confirm since, you know, I don't want to die in surgery. I'll take $10 for this over going to doctor's office or lab for the afternoon any day. Well worth it.

Technically a 4.5 star rating, but Bolo doesn't have that option.A good alternative to paying $$$ for a lab test. The written instructions were a little confusing at parts, but the online video helped clear up those steps. I trust the results I got knowing my parents' blood types. You definitely need to have a bandaid on hand for the lance though, you'll bleed much more than you think you will!

This test works well, It is very important to read the instructions before you start to test. The results are accurate and the test card is designed so you can keep it as a medical record of your blood type. I love the laminate stick on sheet it comes with definitely a plus don’t throw it away.

So I bought this after a funny discussion with my sisters and mother, all not having a clue what our blood types were. And the cost was cheap so I said why not. So once it came I was so excited to do it. Unfortunately it didn’t work 😔 I was so sad. It also looked like it got messed up in transit somehow because it was packed poorly by Bolo. I did reach out to Bolo just saying what happened and they said they’d try contacting the seller… then the actual company who sells the product contacted me and said they will be reaching out to their USA team and have them ship me a new test directly at no cost. I was beyond pleased and the second test was perfect! So for such a cheap cost and easy results in minutes, not to mention a customer service team that went out of their way, I’d give them 5 stars for that. Even though there was an initial mishap, they made up for it and I was very grateful. Thank you sellers! PS - take your time to read the instructions well before you start. A single mess up can ruin the whole test. It happened to my sisters. She was to anxious and rushed. Dont be her! Lol

Growing up and getting blood work serval times over my life, I'd always wondered what my blood type is, and thankfully now I know!The plastic blood...tip...things, those sucked, but did manage to get my readings on the first time.The lancet spot also sorta hurt a day or two after, not sure if I pushed too firmly either, but my finger shot out blood like it was a lizard having followed the directions.A slightly peturbed clean up later and all was done, I'm happy that I have peace of mind knowing what blood will save my life should something happen.
