I bought these for sucking up drywall and joint compound dust after some projects around the house. The intake is a really tight fit and they fit in the vacuum bin well of my older craftsman. No noticeable dust coming out of anywhere.

..having bought it from the warehouse. One thing I did right off was to hot glue the hose-mounting surface and one of the two bag seems. Not sure how anyone else uses these, but I like to reuse them. I found that the mounting section, which goes over the hose, tends to peel back. When the bag is full, I cut one side open, partially to empty it and then sew it closed. I can get 4-6 uses out of each bag. I’m sure they don’t why they don’t make these with a zipper on the end… at least I haven’t found any. It probably comes down to being such a reusable design would cost the company money. As rappers say, “I gotta do me, playa.” …or something like that.

The bags are lot better than the competitive brand. Event though the Craftsman bags are little bit more expensive but the quality is better. I would purchase this again.

We install flooring. The fine dust goes through the lighter vacuum bags and plugs our filter. We don’t have that problem with these bags.
