I've run full synthetic oil for many years and find that Castrol Edge has served me well. I change it every 5K miles, whether it's "extended performance" or not. My Acura TL has 289,000 miles on the engine and still runs great and doesn't smoke at all. I believe the more frequent oil changes and use of very good filters is why the car has that kind of mileage,yet still runs greatI use it in 2 other cars and have had no issues. One has 158,000 miles and the other now has about 126,000. I'm happy with the oil and it's priced very reasonably. I don't see a need for anything else at this time, so I'm sticking with it.
