Thought it didn’t work at first. I was wrong. The pack of batteries I bought (new) had a faulty battery. Replaced batteries and am so pleased with this purchase. Quality is good. Please follow the instructions, this piece must be put up properly.

Love this clock since I am a big Tim Burton fan. It's pretty pricy though. It came packed extremely well. Some reviews said that some pieces came broken, but I wonder if they inadvertently broke them while trying to unpack item. Everything is tightly surrounded by Styrofoam. So...be extremely careful when unpacking. My big complaint is that it is extremely difficult to install batteries in back because of the shape of clock. You can't put on counter face down or stand up because it is so fragile with all of those very cool but tiny pieces. You will need a second person to hold it. Other than that, I love it. Just wish it was a little bigger.

I gifted this coo coo clock to my 16 year old son and he loved it. The detail craftmanship on the clock is just amazing and I love that the clock came with the certificate of authenticity.

It’s important to know what you are actually getting when you purchase this item and have realistic expectations. The truth is that yes, it is a somewhat “fine collectible” due to it being unique, however it also is mass produced and has some areas that lack the quality many would expect from the price or pedigree of the Bradford Exchange.The main body is quite nice. Good size, detail and colors on the figures as you see in their pictures. That quality doesn’t carry over into the hanging characters that are made of what seems to be plastic. The pendulum is a fragile, thin piece of tin that isn’t even as sturdy as a lid off of a can of corn. The clock mechanism is probably my biggest disappointment as it is the same as you would find on a cheap $5 clock at Walmart. The light/sound features do work but they run off separate batteries (AAAs) which drain rather quickly depending on which setting you choose.While all of that sounds like I am not satisfied with my purchase, to the contrary, I am. Mounted on the wall, the clock has the look of quality and uniqueness. It keeps time and is a nice addition to our NBC collection and ultimately, that is what we wanted.High quality, handmade cuckoo clocks can be extremely expensive. Hundreds or even thousands of dollars is not uncommon for the craftsmanship that goes into making them. What you are paying for with this item is the licensing and popularity of the brand. If you are ok with that, this item is worth it. If you’re expecting a handmade masterpiece, you should skip it.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday and she loved it. She's a huge fan of the movie. She thought this clock was amazing. She took it to work and put it in her office and people admire it all the time. It is definitely a quality piece and worth the money.

I was really excited to get this clock. It looks great. However, the first one I received had several broken pieces. Not a big deal as it was promptly replaced. Got a second one and one piece was broken off. Luckily. It was a piece I could easily glue back on. After that, all was good. But then after 4 months everything stopped working except the clock part. Very disappointing especially considering the price. At the price they are charging it really should be a pretty solid piece.

My girlfriend is a Nightmare Before Christmas fanatic. And she's not the only one. Now, every hour, on the hour, she and her kids go running downstairs to look at the koo-koo clock go through its cycle. Handcrafted and put together with care, this is by far the best gift I've ever given with love!

Well packaged and delivered on time.Fantastic detail on clock and really good quality.Are expensive but well worth it.Last clock was flying scotsman cuckoo clock.Looks brand new even after 2 years. Sound is wonderful. This clock even lights up and plays nightmare before Christmas.

とてもしっかりしたつくりで、壊れないように緩衝材がしっかりと巻かれていました。音量も小～大までかえられるので、小の方にしておけは毎時に動作してもさほど気にならないかなと思います。ナイトメアは見たことがなく、ファンでもないのですが、かわいい掛け時計がほしかったので願いはかないました。あとは、どれだけ電池がもつものなのでしょうか。。。ね。

Upon opening the clock it had a manufacturing defect where Jack's arm was broken. Contacted seller who immediately replaced with new clock. Excellent seller and second clock works well and looks great.
