About this item:
The Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set brings phonics skills to life with 26 singing, talking letters. Perfect for keeping little ones busy learning, the magnetic school bus and letter tiles stick to your fridge or any magnetic surface. Children can place each letter into the bus window and press it to hear Tad say the letter's name and sound. Press it twice and Tad will say a word that begins with the letter and then use the word in a sentence. Children can also press the music note to move and sing along to three learning songs, including the "Alphabet Song" and "Wheels on the Bus." Designed by LeapFrog experts for children ages 2 and older, Fridge Phonics reinforces alphabet knowledge, including letter names and sounds, which is an important first step in learning to read. Playing with the letter tiles, which are designed for easy manipulation by little hands, also helps strengthen fine motor and coordination skills.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and fun to use!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve only had a few hours, but I already love it. It is just the right size for little hands and is so easy to use. Each letter says its name and the sound it makes and then if you press in the letter again, it’ll say a little bit about a word starting with the letter. I am sure that song ,” every letter makes a sound “ will be forever in my brain, but the good point is it’ll also be in your little one’s brain! The two songs when you press the musical note button are, the ABC song and the wheels on the bus. I have the pink girl dog one and it is so cute. I like the idea that the letters stay firm on the refrigerator door, but are easy to remove and so is the bus part as well so if your little one wants to sit on the floor and hold it they can. I heard there’s a case that also goes with these and I think I will get that so that we could have play anywhere not just up by the refrigerator.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for toddler learning!
Toy is very durable & has a long battery life. Nice size for toddlers to hold and plays fun songs that they will listen to time and time again. Safe for kids, pieces are big enough to not be choked on. Easy to clean.
5.0 out of 5 stars House favorite
I had this toy for my children and now I bought this for my granddaughter and the littles that come to my house. This is great for learning their ABC. It is made very well as my littles have dropped it or thrown it and still looks good. Very durable. Bright colors for their attention. Great price! They learn to change letters as well. Overall our favorite.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great toy
My toddler loves it but good luck ever finding all the letter for it once they get a little too crazy with it lol
5.0 out of 5 stars Helps teach phonetic sounds
Honestly, it’s a little annoying BUT (and the reason I got it) it’s a fun thing that my toddler plays with while learning at the same time. Using it while I cook, he is learning what sounds each letter makes and we can start applying that when we read together helping him transition into learning how to read.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love Learning
This has been such a beneficial product for my toddler. He dances to the songs and loves popping the letters in and out. The aound quality if great. It magnets nicely to the fridge and does not fet knocked off easily. Our son has enjoyed learning to abc's. Can't say anything negative about this. We (parents) even catch ourselves dancing and singing along.
4.0 out of 5 stars ALMOST Perfect
This had the potential to be a perfect learning tool. There are many great things and a few not so great features.PROS-* Each letter tile speaks the letter, then sings a song, the same song for each letter highlighting the phonetic sound/sounds that each letter makes. For example: For letter U the song sings, "U says U (as in user) and U says U (as in up), every letter makes a sound U says U (as in user) and U (as in up)." If pressed a second time it also speaks a word that begins with the letter and uses it in a sentence.* The bus itself as well as all of the letters are magnetic. They stick very strongly to a black chalkboard and even fairly strongly to a dry erase white board as well. From the other reviews, it does not seem to stick to true stainless steel refrigerators. Also even if it does stick to other faux stainless steel refrigerators, according to some reviews it will scratch the surface. I would not recommend for steel like refrigerator use unless you don't care about scratches. For my typical white finish GE refrigerator, both the bus and the letters stuck to it very well with no issues* The letters and the bus both have the magnets enclosed in plastic so no concern about children swallowing magnets.* Seems pretty durable. Our high energy 22 month old toddler has thrown and dropped the bus and letters countless times and everything still works.* The letters are easy for my 22 month old to pull out and put in by himself.CONS-* There is a song button on the front that plays Wheels on the bus and the ABC song. Our toddler was totally fixated on this button until I had to use a Jedi mind trick on him to press the letters instead. 🙃 (Whenever he pressed the Wheels on the bus button I wouldn't react but when he pressed a letter, I would clap and sing along.) This caused him to lose interest in the song button and pay attention to the letters. This button was an unneccesary distraction to him learning his ABCs in my opinion.* There are two volumes. One is fairly low and the other is very loud. I try to keep it on the lower volume but they placed the control right on the front where the children can reach it so our child is always turning it up. 😾* If the child repeatedly pushes the letter it will keep stating the name of the letter over and over. Our toddler enjoys doing this and sometimes gets fancy as if he is a DJ scratching a record, lol.* Some of the letter tiles will inevitably get lost, but I haven't seen where I can just buy a replacement set of letters without purchasing the whole bus/letters set over again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great!
Our house is a "no noisy toy house", but we made an exception for this one. My toddler loves it and it has really helped her learn the letters.
Déçue 😕
Déçue d'avoir reçu la version anglaise 😕..ma petite fille de 2ans et demi ne va pas trop comprendre....et cela n'est pas stipulé dans les commentaires de vente!
