Calcium pills are so large that they often stuck in my throat - a painful situation. I got to the point that I just stopped taking calcium. A friend told me about Caltrate Minis and I am back to taking my calcium! While you have to take 4 Minis to equal two of the typical calcium pills, it is a breeze to swallow them. Yes, they are a bit more expensive but if the alternative is not taking calcium at all, it's worth the extra price. Cheaper that osteoporosis. I have these on a regular shipped from Bolo so I get them for a lower price and I don't have to remember to order. And you can easily skip a shipment if it takes you a while to get used to be able to swallow calcium pills again!

This was great for me. I tried some others , but they were so large that I hated taking them. These are just a nice size, they are coated so they go down well. Very easy to take.

These are MUCH easier to swallow. This is welcome relief for those who struggle with large calcium supplements.I don't know why Caltrate would continue to manufacturer the large ones now that they figured out how to get the same goodness into a smaller size pill.
