I made Bran Muffins many years ago, but could not find the Quaker Oat Bran in any grocery stores.I made my Bran Muffins and they were wonderful.

Have to get it from Bolo as it is not available in local stores, great product I mix two cups water dash of salt and 1/4 cup oatmeal and 1/4 cup oat bran - very good product

ARRIVED TODAY - DID NOT LIKE THE LATE ARRIVAL. ALSO DID NOT LIKE THAT THE OAT BRAN CEREAL BOXES DID NOT HAVE A "BEST IF USED BY" DATE ON THE BOTTOM OF ANY OF THE 12 BOXES. I HAVE ORDERED THIS CEREAL MANY TIMES, AND ALL BOXES HAVE BEEN DATED.I FOUND THE "BEST IF USED BY" ON THE BOXES! IT PRINTED IN AN UNUSUAL SPOT ON THE BOXES. SORRY ABOUT THAT. 08/25/23

This product appears to no longer be available in grocery stores because I've been looking for it for a long time. I use Quaker Oat Brand Hot Cereal to make oat bran muffins for which the recipe is on the back of the box. I was very happy to find the product available on Bolo.I did notice that the recipe on the back of the box has been modified slightly from the previous recipe. The 1/4 cup honey has been removed, as well as the option to use 2% milk instead of fat free milk. I completely agree with why these changes have been made - it makes these delicious muffins even healthier.

These 2 boxes of Oat Bran, for which I paid over $16, came sealed in plastic. Apparently this was to keep any more cereal from exiting the boxes, which were partially crushed, making the ends gap open & allowing grains to escape. Probably a few tablespoons total, but at this price, one would think more care would be taken to assure the packages were intact. The outer delivery box was sturdy & intact. The cereal itself is a good choice for fiber without chewiness, tasty with brown sugar. No idea why it's so hard to find, & when you do, it's overpriced.

This is the same Oat Bran that I can no longer get locally, & one box arrived in good condition. BUT the other box lid had been sliced open before it was packed for shipping, and the obviously defective box was packed & shipped anyway. Plus the outer packaging was insufficient, so when the package arrived, oat bran from that box was spread all over my porch.
