I bought Earth's Daughter Organic Aloe Vera Gel because I had a scrape on my face and I didn't want to scar. It's been a little over a week and my face is healing and doesn't show any signs of scarring. I'm very happy with my purchase.The gel goes on a little wet, but not sticky. It dries in a few minutes and it doesn't leave a sticky residue. My scrape is healing really quickly since I started using the gel.I'm going to keep using the gel after my scar heals as I like the texture and hydration I get from it.

I really love this stuff, I use it every day as a base layer for my face moisturizer so the moisturizer spreads thin and doesn't become heavy throughout the day. I also use this as an after shave for my legs which works really well to prevent itching and doesn't sting at all - I even put some in a mini bottle so I can take it with me when I travel.It's also unsurprisingly great for sunburns, it feels gentle and cool and doesn't feel sticky like thick gels do, unless you use way too much at once and it can't all absorb before drying. Really a great jack of all trades beauty product for me, I use it all over my body no problem.I would only caution that if you might be allergic to test a small bit first before slathering it everywhere as some people can have bad reactions.

UPDATE 2: I wanted to follow up with some interesting information that I gathered. "Aloe vera creates a thin, protective film on the skin, which can make the skin feel tight. This sensation is often misinterpreted as dryness, but it’s actually a normal response to the aloe vera’s astringent properties."UPDATE 1: After 1 month of daily use I found that it often causes my face to briefly turn slightly red when used excessively. It also makes my skin tingly with a really tight feeling, which kind of feels like the opposite of moisturizing. So yeah, this doesn't seem to be a moisturizer🧴replacement. However, it has helped my skin heal in an accelerated way, therefore I will continue to use and recommend using this for its healing effects. It is also a magnificent pre-moisturizer. Another thing worth mentioning is that this has been completely residue-free.This stuff is incredible. It's the purest and most authentic, organic aloe vera gel that you can find. I've done my research and landed here after checking out nearly every other product. The scent is the same you'd get from the plant. It's extremely lightweight, not heavy at all. The texture is perfect. The pump is very conservative also, which I like. Highly recommended! Super satisfying and refreshing. Excited to have this.

I had hesitated to buy this, because I figured it would be gooey and sticky. But I always buy organic, so that's what prompted me to go ahead and make the purchase. The price is very fair for the amount of gel that you get. The seller sent me an email thanking me for my purchase, and there was a link to download the many uses for the gel, which I often refer to. Didn't know that aloe vera gel could help with so many things. What I really like is that it is NOT gooey and sticky at all - it is a thin gel which is easy to apply, dries quickly, and absorbs right away. So far I've used it as a face/body moisturizer, either on its own, or with other organic creams/serums, essential oils, etc. with great results. It does help to reduce redness, which I discovered when I applied it to my lower leg/calf area, when some rough red skin appeared out of nowhere. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I will buy again. l

I tried it mainly for hair styling and it did an excellent job in keeping the style on for long time without looking like a piece of gel. I also put it on ichy skin and I think it releavd it. Highly recommend and would buy again

It feels good on my skin, cools it down after being in the sun. Have not had any irritation. It smells kinda bad though and it is extremely watery. I am not sure if it was watered down but it is not gel like at all it’s like squirting water out of the pump. I think I would try a different brand next time. Not sure if its 100% aloe like it says.

I have ultra-sensitive skin and a very pale complexion. I was struggling with fairly severe redness and inflammation of the skin around eyes and on my face in general. I tried everything, including going to a dermatologist and using prescription creams, and nothing was working. This product was like a miracle for me - it cleared the problem up within a couple of days. I now use it on my face, neck and hands daily.The product is very thin, more of a liquid than what most would consider to be a gel. It absorbs into the skin instantly and isn't greasy or sticky at all. It softens my skin without leaving me feeling like I need to wipe off excess product. I've had no problems with the gel transferring onto my clothing or jewelry. If you're looking for something that feels soft and creamy, and deposits scent onto your skin, this is not the product for you.Some reviews have complained about the smell; the product doesn't contain any perfumes or dyes so don't expect a fruity or fresh scent. I find the smell to be very slightly medicinal (for lack of a better way to describe it) but the smell doesn't deposit on the skin or linger - once the gel is absorbed the smell is gone. For me, this is a safe, effective product at an incredibly good price and I feel comfortable recommending it.
