5.0 out of 5 stars Great product- Wish it had a back light!
Note- The company has changed names for their non-professional customers in the time since I bought the first one. The packaging on the second reflected this, but there was no change at all to the product itself other than their new name- BodyMed vs ReliaMed.This is a product I first bought in 2010 after researching which heating pad would last the longest and have the best features. The orginal pad died in 2014, so the lifespan of the first one was roughly 4 years. I liked it enough to buy a second and so far (owning two) These are the Pro's and Con's of this model.Pro's-- I like the size of this item. Large enough to run all the way down my back or wrap all the way around my leg. It is a bit big if you want it just over your shoulder, but they make them in many sizes. I selected the largest size as it suited my needs best. I have found no pressing need to buy a smaller one as of yet.- Digital pad is well made. Nothing on this item feels 'cheap'. Never had any issue with buttons failing to work which has occurred on other high end electronic items.- I like the lock feature which allows you to set the time and temperature you want and will prevent that from being changed by accidental pressing of buttons as you move.- Moist heat. Very nice. The cover is well made and easy to remove and wash.-Cord length is long which allows you to not have to camp out by a plug in.- Temperature range. Goes from a very low heat (which I rarely use) to one that is a tad too hot- but nice for short times. I can always find a setting that is comfortable.Cons-- No back light. HUGE con, but not enough to make me look for another product. Adding this feature would really put this product at the top of it's field.- The Velcro on the cover is annoying when you do not want to use it. I would prefer a tie or possibly having the Velcro set so that it could be attached to the inside of the cover when not in use.Overall I am very pleased with this item. I use it a lot and will buy another as long as the quality does not go down, as can happen when a professional product is marketed for a non-professional consumer.

I have had a multi year journey looking for a great heating pad. I have lupus, disc issues, and small fiber neuropathy. I had an old heating pad that died on me and every one I've bought since did not get hot enough.I found this one here and immediately was excited about the size of it. It's big enough to cover my entire back. That's so beneficial when you have muscle spasms all over. I love the weight of it. It really helps the heat penetrate my joints to relieve the arthritis pain. The high temperatures are great. I turn it up to 166 and put it on top of my bed spread and it helps the heat disperse even more. If I'm using it directly on the skin or clothing f I find 142-147 to be perfect. It burns the pain into submission. When you have arthritis they say moist heat is the best for the joints. This pad gets very humid. You can feel the moisture and it's done by design. No need to wet the cover. The beeping from the control is a tad annoying. It bother my husband more than me because I'm enjoying all the benefits. Other reviewers have brought up the lack of backlight and it is a con. I find myself having to turn on my phone flashlight to see the control. Other than those two things this is a top notch product and will provide you maximum pain relief.I've had this heating pad for over a year and it gets heavy daily use. It works amazing and I've recommended it to friends with chronic pain. Another friend with lupus ended up buying one and she swears by it too. It's just a great product and worth the money 100x over!
4.0 out of 5 stars Longest wearing most convenience highest performing of more than 25 tested
This is the 3rd purchase of this product. The 1st one lasted 5 years.+ moist heat without requiring the addition of a wicking insert.+ cord is sturdy and length is generous+length/width of pad is sufficient to wrap full adult head or extend to cover back/hip/stomach or cover the full back area from waist to shoulder+ fabric cover fits and washes well, is sturdy yet comfortable enough against bare skin+ option to lock temperature and length of time that pad will operate is handy+ auditory prompt when pad times out and shuts off convenient to alert to restart pad before experiencing heat loss? 2022 2nd purchase of pad that is 2 years old is used hours long each day for 10 weeks of the year. It just began to hum when in use and and from the first use, 2nd pad’s temperature is cooler than the 1st pad’s even when both pads are set at the same temperature.? 2024 3rd purchase of this pad is used hours long daily. 3rd pad’s temperature is hotter than the 1st pad’s even when both pads are set at the same temperature. The cover on 3rd pad has an instructional/warning label affixed to it that is unpleasantly crackly sounding and feels uncomfortable and plasticlike against bare skin.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed
I injured my knee and needed to apply heat. My previous heating pad was either too cool or too hot so I wanted one that I could adjust the temperature more easily. This pad has the ability to adjust the heat by degrees centigrade and also in Fahrenheit (although not every degree due to the conversion factor). When I first used it I was concerned because even set at a low temperature it got very hot in spots but I found that once it reaches the heat specified, then it no longer has hot spots and is quite comfortable set at 138F.The description refers to a flannel cover, it is not what I think of as flannel but a duck type fabric with a very lightly brushed surface. The heating pad itself is not soft but it does bend easily to wrap around my knee. The control is easy to use. The maximum time is 60 minutes but it beeps when done so I am easily reminded to turn it back on. The memory feature is nice, it remembers the previous setting as long as the pad is not unplugged. The 14" x 27" wraps around my knee and secures with a velcro strap. It would be a good size for back pain or abdominal pain, too.
Love this.
Love this product. Gets very hot, with many different heat settings very quickly.
Comfort
Heat therapy on a bad back
Heating pad
Great product. I don't like that it's in ferinheight vs Celsius and that it can't be switched. But otherwise good. Used by my physio. No complaints about product.
Lovely moist heat
Easy to use, the moist heat is delightful, I like that you can set the time and temperature. I recommend it .
Heating Pad not working - no support from customer care
Update as of Sep 2023: It’s a SCAM. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.We took this faulty heating pad to multiple technicians to help fix it since it’s an expensive item. We were told that this item runs on 110V (meant for North american voltage), and it’s not for Indian 220V. So the minute we plugged it in, the display fused. It’s such a scam. Why would they send low-voltage product in Indian market. We bought this product off Bolo India, then they should send products compatible in Indian market. Totally ridiculous seller with no customer support and terrible experience.Earlier Response:I received this heating pad on 4th Jan 2023. It turned on when i tested it same day. After that it didn’t turn on. Called Bolo customer care but they refused to help or replace the item. I don’t even want refund. I just want product replacement as it stopped working within 10 days and there’s no support.
