I purchased two of these coils and cut one down to size and terminated the cable. The wires themselves felt similar in quality as the expensive cable we run at work. I have been using the cables for about 6 months now with higher speeds and no packet losses. This brand was highly recommended in networking forums I frequent. I would buy this again if I needed to.

These are well constructed and quality cables. Used to hardwire one of my Deco X55 APs above the door in my office to the RJ45 port on the opposite wall. Monoprice has always been a great place to shop for good products at a great value. This cable is not different.

Usually our home WiFi is capable of handling the household needs—TV streaming, gaming, work, social media, etc.—but Covid-19 has the world on lockdown and suddenly I am battling multiple students and my spouse for bandwidth. My secret weapon: an Ethernet connection that gets me the 300mbps speed I'm paying for.We didn’t hardwire the house when we built it, so I am using a couple of these long cables to reach from the router to more comfortable locations. The cable seems sturdy and the end connectors seat solidly. I get the speed I expect, even when the cable is at the end of its 50-lb length.A long cable like this is really a must for any household, there are times when you need to troubleshoot a problem and wired is the way. Keep one on hand!
