5.0 out of 5 stars Really cute set of toy tools!
I love the realistic look to these and the tool bag they come in. Can't wait to give them to my 4-year-old nephew (If I can bear to give them up...). He is going to love following his father around and imitating him. I would not hesitate to give them to my niece, either, except she is more into Wednesday Adams. I think this is a great gift for any little dude or dudette as a way to introduce them to practical skills. It will save them a ton in handyman fees one day...
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Tool Set, but Watch Out for Small Parts
I got this Magic4U Kids Tool Set for my 3-year-old nephew, and he absolutely loves it! He’s really into fixing things with his dad, and this set makes him feel like a little handyman. The variety of tools is fantastic, and the quality is solid for pretend play. However, I did take out the small screws since I was concerned he might put them in his mouth (that just might be me being anxious). Other than that, it’s a wonderful toy that keeps him entertained for hours.
5.0 out of 5 stars fun set and has great tools to try
This is great little set that comes with a tool bag. This is great for our community toy box for kids to play with when parents come over our house for church activities. Not for kids that put anything in their mouths. The screw and washers are small. The screwdrivers can have the handle come off them, but they fit back in. I kept the cardboard in the pouch to keep the rectangular look.
4.0 out of 5 stars I think my granny would wish I had these when I was three...
Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Bolo Vine program for review. When I was three my parents bought their first house and while my dad was organizing all of his tools in the garage my granny had to come over to help keep me contained. I was obsessed with tools (still kind of am). At one point after being thwarted from going in the garage for the umpteenth time, I apparently asked my granny in a frustrated toddler manner "Why don't you just go home?" She laughed and is still laughing at that story. This little tool kit probably would have largely kept me out of dads tools that day. This is a really cute set with plastic copies of several hand tools that actually work. They are not intended to be used as real tools (they are plastic toys), but they are reasonably strong and look right! The included screws and plastic "wood" pieces all fit together nicely and work with the included tools. Its a fun little set that fits into the compact bag nicely. I wish some of it were a bit better constructed for longer term function, but as a toy it's great. I still won't let my grandson play with them unsupervised, but they are really neat. I wish I had them when I was three.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty lightweight plastic tools but my grandkids love them
I was a little disappointed about how lightweight weight these tools are, but they are perfect for 3 year olds. They actually seem pretty durable and my grandkids can't get enough of them.
3.0 out of 5 stars Too big for a 3 yr old waist
The toy tools are ok, but the tool belt is too big for my toddler's waist. He carries it around saying it's his purse, which is fine, but not the intention, and can't hold everything in it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly nice despite erroneous ad!
I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this toy - I did not expect this to be as nice as it is, especially since the ad is so bad (photoshopped, wrong words used, not edited well, terribly translated, etc. ). Most of the time when an ad is as bad as this one, the product follows suit. ( For the record this is not a STEM toy. It’s a toy tool set. That’s all. Yes, there will probably be some learning involved but every toy does not need to be sold as STEM, nor are they). Moving along from that, this is a great little tool set! It is actually well made for what it is, and with higher quality materials; so much better than the current set they have. Both the flat head and the phillips head screwdrivers separate from the handles and are interchangeable. The movable parts on the wrenches move, and nothing feels like it is going to immediately fall apart. One thing it lacks is a saw, though it does have a toolbag for storage and for carrying around. The biggest con I see with this (aside from the erroneous ad) is that I didn’t get two of them - one for each of my littles (I will definitely be correcting that). Recommended!
5.0 out of 5 stars Just like dad
This is great. I had a couple things to put together this weekend and my two and a half year old is not the best helper with things with lots of pieces. So now he can have his own thing to put together. It kept him quite busy and he loved being just like dad!
