I purchased this item in October 2017 after trying several other products. I was interested in the lifetime warranty. I can tell you, it is a quality product. The netting is fine enough to gather a lot of small debris when using it to skim. It is super sturdy and I've pulled pounds of leaves off the bottom of the pool. I write this review after using it for 6 years and needing to replace it because the plastic around the net opening started to crack and I didn't want to scuff up my plaster. The netting is still going strong but the constant exposure to sun had caused the plastic to fade and crack and finally a piece broke off. The net is still functional but I just resurfaced my pool and didn't want to scratch the new plaster so I requested a replacement. I expected to have to send a photo or some documentation of the damage but No, easy warranty replacement and it came quickly. I highly recommend this product and noted today that the current price has only increased by $5 since 2017 - so well worth the money with a true lifetime warranty.

Its been 4 years since my original purchase, and i need to leave this review Don't let the price discourage you. The warranty is REAL and filing a claim is super easy. My first skimmer net lasted 4 years. This year the red plastic finally wore and broke off. I filed a claim and received a new net in 4 days. Awesome quality and customer service. I would buy again IF I have another pool at another location, but with their lifetime warranty, I don't need to buy another one for curreny pool.

It's a pool net...It works exactly the way it is intended to work. It's very durable, bought this net in 2019 and was just noticing last week how faded the plastic was getting and how it was cracking a little. It's also starting to get some larger holes in the net. I remembered that they have a lifetime warranty so I thought to myself I'm going to have to check into that soon or just order a new one. The crazy thing is I just received an email from Protuff earlier today reminding me of the lifetime warranty and to use it. And they make this process so easy. No pictures no proof of purchase to submit, nothing. Granted as long as you register with your email when you first buy your net then they have your email address. So for the warranty you just enter your email address and hit submit and then they show your original order, which is how I knew I bought it in 2019. And you just provide your current address and submit the claim. No fees or shipping charges. Super easy. Highly recommend this company and their products. They don't just say lifetime warranty and then make you jump thru hoops to use it. I would give them 10 stars if I could. And no I don't work for them and I'm not being paid to write this. I'm just a super satisfied customer.

I bought this skimmer about 5 years ago. It was used every day. It lasted the test of time and the FL sun. Then it broke apart. The company honored the lifetime warranty, no questions asked. I must say five stars for the product, the company and its customer service!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars They RELLY mean LIFETIME Warranty - A Review from the Arizona Desert
I originally purchased this item in 2015. I have had a pool for 40 years and live in Scottsdale Arizona. My pool equipment is in the sun from sunup to sundown every day. The harsh summers break down all plastics in pool equipment in about one year. In the time I have owned this net I had it replaced in 2019 and just received my second replacement in 7/2024. How hard was it to get replaced. I sent them an email with a copy of the original receipt from Bolo and a picture of the broken plastic on the top of the net and 5 days later had a brand new net by UPS. No questions, no hassle, just good old customer service. I should also point out that in each of the net failures it was the plastic on the aluminum ring that broke not the net. It is super durable and does a great job. The frame on the net has held its shape despite extensive use over the years. Nothing lasts forever, plastic breaks down, but each of these nets that I have used (2 in total, just starting my third) lasted approximately 4 years in what I would consider some of the harshest conditions imaginable. I have also read some emails about it being to heavy and do not agree with them. For a personal pool it is durable and is easy to work with. I skim my pool for about 5 minutes every day and it is easy and works well. I have the 23" model which allows me to skim all of the leaves off of the surface and after a storm to quickly remove any that have blown to the bottom of the pool I do not have a single complaint about the usability and durability of this product. With the lifetime warranty I don't ever expect to have to buy another net. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and give it my Highest Recommendation.

i have the whole system, brush, handle and new. the net stays somewhat rigid, i dont really care for that end of it but it is decent quality like the rest of the items i listed, over priced like everything else
5.0 out of 5 stars Superb quality with a lifetime warranty
This thing is great, does an awesome job skimming all summer and lives outside on the phenomenal protuff pole. It sprung some holes which of course is normal with wear and tear... but this company is crazy and wants this to be a lifetime product, a few simple clicks later and my warranty replacement is on its way. I kind of feel bad, but you are making a massive mistake if you buy your pool products from anyone else.
Solid construction
I purchased two of these... One for myself and one as a gift... With the hope of not having to consistently replace my skimmer net. The other ones sold on Bolo just do not hold up more than one season if I'm lucky. I'm almost one season in now with the Tuff Products net and it's just like brand new. And I also have the confidence that if anything actually ever did happen, that their lifetime warranty will hold true. Good job guys... Solid product!
High quality product but I got a damaged piece
Pool Silt Net - ProTuff
Overall this skimmer net works great. I like the fact that it is clear so that you can see leaves and debris floating underneath the water. My previous skimmer net was white and I found it harder to capture this type if material. It also glides through the water with medium resistance, which is good based on the small size of the openings in the net (i.e. for silt). I also find their warranty very impressive. The only negative comment is that I find the depth of the net to be a little small. This means you have to empty it more often. If you try to collect too much debris it just spills over into the pool. Another 2"-3" would be ideal.

I purchased the expensive pool net, seemed great until the stitching started coming out and the net started coming apart, only used it maybe 5 times, very disappointed, And they don't Honor there warranty, it's a scam, very upset 😡 waste of money
