I never leave reviews, but I’ve tried a number of self tanners in lotion or drop form, and this is easily my favorite. The color is perfect after one application (no need to build — i bought the light/med) It goes on very thick, so that took a little bit to get used to, but I liked seeing the white cast at first, helped me make sure i covered all the areas. After 15 minutes it feels like nothing was there (but yes don’t put on clothes for those minutes).

I love this self tanner. It stays on well. You only need to apply it once every four days or so. A little bit goes a long way. You do have to rub it in well and make sure it’s applied evenly. Wait 15 minutes before dressing and it’s set.

I’m very pleased with Beauty by Earth self tanner. I use it every couple of days. The tone is very realistic. It doesn’t fade or get too dark. Blends well around knees and ankles. Great value and coverage. It only takes a little bit of lotion. Clean product with organic ingredients as well.

This is a good product if you want to keep putting it on every couple of days. Once you stop, it quickly goes away and you are back to where you were before. A little costly to use that often, I had hoped it would last longer. I don't really like the smell either but I have yet to find one that doesn't have that chemical odor. It is hard to do around your ankles and feet - it seems to not work in areas that have any wrinkles in your skin and makes the wrinkles much darker than the rest of the skin surrounding it.

This tanner had the best reviews on Bolo, which is why I decided to try it. I decided I loved it SO much that I HAD to leave a review for other gingers out there looking for any self tanner that's been reviewed by another ginger (I spent hours doing that). I'm naturally strawberry blonde (for people looking for a ginger's opinion, I'm not shockingly red, but more golden blonde) and I have seriously seriously pale skin/blue eyes. So it's easy to go too dark with any self tanner I use. I have to say, this stuff is seriously awesome. If you're going to use it, here's my tips based on how the stuff preformed:It's gradual, so use it a day or two ahead of whatever event you want to be tan for. The paler you are, the more days I would give yourself. I feel like it takes a good 24 hours to really set in and give you a glow. And if it's too shockingly tan, a couple of days after it will have faded a tiny bit to a more comfortable color for you. And it fades really well so it won't look splotchy.Exfoliate your skin beforehand because that's what you *should* do. However, I didn't the second time I used it and I haven't had any issues with it being spotty on my legs or anything.Be careful you have time to walk around in a robe for a the first few hours and try not to do anything that would cause it to get streaky in places like behind your knees or whatever, but that's true with any self tanner. Not giving the product time to absorb into the skin is your own fault, not the tanner's fault. Overall, I hadn't had ANY issues with streaking. If there's a patch I missed, it was my own fault. But because it's gradual tanner, just wait a day and put some on where you missed it. It won't be super obvious to anyone but yourself on the first application if you've missed a spot. Like I said, it's really fantastic, It tans you based on your own skin color. And that's coming from a freaky pale ginger.As far as color goes, it gives you a really pretty glow that I can't explain. I wouldn't describe it as orange or brown, but rather just a shade *warmer* than freaky pale. Everyone knows gingers don't tan so I'm not going for a bronzed look (just a "not dead" skin color), so I have no clue what it would look like if you're trying to look like you slept in a tanning bed, but then, this review is specifically for other pale people like me who probably aren't going for that look either.Ok so the smell...self tanners smell like self tanners. I get so tired of hearing reviews complaining about smells in fake tanners because they ALL have a smell. This smells like fake tanner. BUT it's really really really minor and probably the least smelling tanner I've ever used. So that's awesome.Waterproof-ness - It hasn't been coming off when I workout or when I take showers. Overall, I think it would probably last about 1.5 weeks if you're ok with a nice fade (which this TOTALLY fades nicely). If you want to keep it up, I think applying it once a week is just about perfect. I haven't had ANY problems with it coming off on my white sheets either, which is nice. During the initial application, I did wear a robe around the house and that did get some tanner on it, but I expected that because it wasn't totally absorbed yet. So I guess I should say that for a couple of hours after you first put it on, it could potentially get on clothes/towels/robes, but I don't think this makes the product bad.Also, buy one of those weird self tanner gloves because I wish I'd had now.Another note for you sensitive skinned gingers, I see a lot of people who love the jergens natural glow, and it is cheaper, but you have to apply it way more often for the effects. My skin just can't handle that. It's super sensitive to everything I put on my skin, especially lotion. I totally break out if I put it on my face on a regular basis so I wanted something that was much more "once and done for a week" kind of product instead of a "every couple of days" kind of product. To be 100% fair though, my skin on my face does not LOVE this stuff, but it kind of gets a little red then settles back down in a couple of hours. But it doesn't make me break out or get hives. I've found that lowering the AC in the house or sitting in front of a fan helped with that reaction though.To all my ginger friends out there, you are the only ones who understand that I had to walk through all of this stuff because these are real issues for us (and so many of us are looking for self tanners without any ginger friend resources to go off of). I promise, this is the self tanner you've been looking for.

I make snow look tan. I absolutely love how it looks natural and not orange like a dorito. It went on so smoothly and dried really quick. It didn’t even transfer to my clothes either. I would definitely recommend this tanning lotion if you want a tan without the sun and want a more natural look!

I’ve added layers each day and can’t see a difference. I have a decent tan but my sides, lower back and butt don’t see the sun as much, so I keep adding this to add tan. Spray tans add color all over, leaving these areas lighter still, so I want a lotion I can add here to get everything matching

What’s not to love? Here’s how it beats out most other same day self tanners:1. I don’t need to use a mitt to apply.2. It’s clear. It’s clear lotion that you apply all over and it feels great. Doesn’t leave a mess anywhere and it’s very moisturizing.3. Smells great. Lots of self tanners smell super weird and this one doesn’t!!!4. I can apply and leave my house. With most other self tanners you’re streaky, dark, and feel the need to stay home cause you look ridiculous.Insanely impressed!!

Great product
Ive tried just about every self tanner out there. This is one of the greatest ones. There’s no strong smell and it’s a white cream while applying. The tan builds up over night. Love it!
