About this item:
WrapCut is a filament-bearing tape invention where the use of a utility knife was previously the only accepted method for trimming through thick films and coatings. Simply position the tape with the filament-bearing edge along the precise desired line for cutting, apply the vinyl film to the surface as usual and the pull the filament out and through the vinyl. With WrapCut, you no longer need to worry about the vehicle's paint job because the fine filament within the tape will produce a clean, smooth-cut line with just an easy pull through the vinyl.

5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff is awesome
I'm new to the whole vinyl wrap thing, and recently I decided to wrap the roof of my truck because it was starting look bad and I'm not ready to paint it yet. This tape works great, just lay it down where you want your edge to be, and after youve gotten your vinyl laid & formed to your part you just pull the string out for a nice crisp line with no cutting, no blade ever touches the paint on your cars finish. Simple but effective.

"Ah, the Cutlass tape—looked like a budget-friendly alternative to 3M. Thought I was saving a bundle! Turns out, I didn’t factor in the cost of all the vinyl this stuff shredded like it had a personal vendetta. After painstakingly laying out my vinyl smooth as glass, this tape came in like a bull in a china shop, leaving rough edges, random tears, and gaps that didn’t even touch. So much for saving money—this was a masterclass in costly frustration. Good luck to anyone who thinks they’re snagging a deal with this one. You’ll need it!" I took it aside and tried several methods to get a clean edge, 20" that's all I needed (motorcycle wrap) it was too much to ask.
4.0 out of 5 stars works as it should except in corners
So it works well, cuts good and leaves a nice line. It doesn't stick super amazing but wasn't too much of a hassle. Probably biggest problem was in corners even large radius ones. It tended to bunch up or not stick at all.I would recommend for pin striping but get the good stuff if u gotta do corners.
5.0 out of 5 stars Knife less Tape
This tape is great so that you won’t have to cut on the vehicle with a blade. It’s a little hard to start but once you get the hang of using it, it works like a charm!
1.0 out of 5 stars Did not leave a clean cut
Bought this tape due to price. The pics I included were done with 2 different tapes. The bottom edge was done with 3M knifeless tape and the top was done with this brand. I may have had a defective roll but the cutting filament was near the edge of the tape not centered as it should be. So as I pulled the filament it slide out from under the tape leaving a wavy cut. The 3M brand was twice the price but works like it’s designed to do. Now my weekend project is on hold til the 3M roll arrives
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product.
I tried a more expensive and highly-rated, item and wasted close to $100.00 on the tape and the wrap. MUCH ANGER AND FRUSTRATION OBVIOUSLY.I received this cutting tape about two hours ago and have worked with it, testing straight and curved line cutting. Wow!!! I'm impressed. This product is cheaper and thinner than the prior, easier to work with, and the cutting thread is 3 times stronger. I'm excitedly awaiting the arrival of the new wrap. I have no doubt that the application will go well with this tape.

Easy to use
Great product and definitely great for precision cuts.
Great cut tape and it's actually a long roll
Cuts clean, and the cut line is very thin. One downside there are no instructions on tape, so I had no idea you need to seperate the thin cutting line from the red tape. Good thing someone showed this on YouTube. Anyway you stick the red tape on with the white line thread, then seperate the two (with a thin blade) and then pull only the thin thread (don't pull the red tape)! The long side of red tape goes to the piece you are throwing away and the short end towards the vinyl you keep on car or bike. Speaking of which the red tape is very sticky, once I placed it stayed glued on even while I worked so I am happy about that.
More time consuming to use then knifeless tape
More difficult to use than knifeless tape. Need to cut the tape without cutting the string to start off, then most of the time it will work decent. Does not like to stick on sharp turns, sticks very well on straight lines.
