Update: 1.5 years later and I still love them!!I never imagined something like this would make me so happy, lol!! Perfect size for holding soy sause for sushi, prepping for recipes, storing small amounts of food, serving small amounts of food, or using them to pack little sides, such as nuts, in your lunch. My husband and I each leave out a clear drinking class so we don't have to use a new one every time we want a sip of water throughout the day. We invert these over the glasses to keep out any dust and it looks so attractive. These stack really well in the cupboard and take up hardly any space. They are not too thick and not too thin. We go through them so fast and they barely take up any space in the dishwasher. I'm thinking about getting another set.

Perfect size. I thought they might be to small but they are perfect. Hold more than I thought. I just started making my own cream cheese ( super easy ), and these containers are the perfect size. I also make my own bagels, and give to neighbors with the cream cheese. I do bake a lot and also using these to hold the ingredients is helpful. Perfect for storing small amounts of leftover, in the fridge. The lids seal the deal. Great value.

Packaging was the best I've seen. Extra sturdy box with unfilled sections surroundi g bowls for cushion against crushing or puncture. Glass product is substantial and weighty with ridge design around top exterior to aid wet finger grip. Lids are also sturdy and fit well. Lidded bowls can be stacked, and all 8 unlidded bowls nest solidly for space saving storage. Very good purchase and recommended for busy cooks and bakers, and even crafters for a clear view of beads and buttons.

For me, these have replaced the annoyances of using oversized bowls and dishes, or clumsily making measuring cups double as temporary storage during cooking and baking. I also use them for snacks to more easily control my portions and as sides for work lunches. Perfect size for putting 3-4 ounces of something like yogurt while still having a bit of room for mix-ins or to hold sauces for basting.The only criticism I could levy is that the lids these come with are a pretty tight fit and while that's fine for now (and great for transporting liquids), I am expecting them to crack sooner rather than later as a result of how snug they are.

These are well made and sturdy, just what you want in a glass container used in the kitchen, and the lids are a tight fit. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. Ialso use them to store blends that I make ahead to save time..

These small containers do the trick for food prep and holding all your ingredients. They’re the right size for small amounts of liquids, seasonings, etc… The glass feels sturdy, and they’ve already stood up to some abuse. They arrived neatly packed with no damage at all. The lids aren’t awesome and almost feel a little brittle, but that was a non-issue for us.The only gripe I really have is that each glass container has a barcode sticker on the bottom. They were tedious to remove and they all left residual adhesive. Nothing a little elbow grease wouldn’t solve.

I didn’t think the lids were a selling point for these but now that I have them, I see that I was quite wrong. These are so useful beyond my original intent (measuring recipe ingredients ahead of mixing) that I may need a second set.I like that they’re clear so I can quickly identify the contents and the level/quantity. There’s no concern about them fitting in with decor or standing out in a bad way in a crafting room.Since they’re glass, I don’t worry about BPAs or staining. They are truly sturdy so I don’t worry about damaging them either. I’ve already dropped one on a hard floor with no ill effect.The lids are great for using a dry erase marker. It washes off easily and the bowls are simple to clean. They stack well and take up such little space.

As with almost every other reviewer, I'm giving this product five stars. There is absolutely nothing not to like. I've found so many uses that I've just ordered my second set for my one person household. There are so many ways to use these bowls, but here's a convenience I'm enjoying: I fill six at a time with slightly softened ice cream, pop on the tops, and refreeze. When I want a serving I retrieve a bowl in an instant--no digging into a carton of ice cream, over and over again. These are certainly reasonably priced for a set of eight bowls and tops. A very, very satisfactory purchase!
