5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfying
Midnight Blue has the perfect texture, it pops well, has great flavor, and is very crunchy. We enjoy it, and it is our go to evening snack. I always pop it dry (meaning no oil, spices, or flavoring) in my silicone microwave popcorn bowl. Once it’s served in individual serving bowls, I season to each person’s preference. I will sprinkle with season salt, and/or drizzle melted butter over it. Sometimes I like it just plain, and the flavor is delicious all on its own.
5.0 out of 5 stars No hull pop corn
Great popcorn, kernel a little smaller popped, no more hulls , getting stuck in my gums or my teeth also hardly any old maids and what you do get are chewable even with dentures!
5.0 out of 5 stars Oh wow the flavor
At first I was disappointed it didn't pop up big. But wow those little popcorn balls were bursting with flavor. It had a great texture. It was easy for me to make. I have a microwave popper and I put 2Tbsp in it and hit popcorn. I think it is a value because it takes forever for me to eat 2lb. I thought it was fresh. I only put a little salt on it. I don't think it even needed butter. I will buy this again. I'm putting this in my favorite things!Update...I took this to my friends house that was very sceptical since they use movie popcorn. I made it and now they asked me to buy them it for them. They loved the flavor and quality. He wants to try out a small amount and see how long it lasts before buying bigger amounts.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just get it lol
I love the taste it doesn’t seem to have any hulls. I find most of it pops and it will blow the lid off the popper already reordered it and the red the red has a little more volume than the blue but a 1/4 cup uncooked fills up my small sauce pan and a medium bowl. It’s about all I can eat
4.0 out of 5 stars Meh. had high hopes, but get yerself some big box Orville Redenbacher for bigger fresher pops
pops are kind of small. the small number of duds was acceptable, but the flavor was not super fresh nor amazing. maybe I got the last of the 2022 crop instead of this years. I might try again some day, but this popcorn was not the upgrade we were hoping for.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best popcorn I've ever bought.
Popped it up in coconut oil and was pleasantly surprised that every kernel popped up and it didn't have loose kernel shells at the bottom of the pan like in other popcorns I've bought It's delicious.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not "Hulless", pop up small so less volume of popped corn per cup of kernels
My husband and I enjoyed some delicious, fluffy, round popcorn that had no hulls a while back and have been looking for a source to make our own at home. Sadly, this was not it. I put just under 1/2 cup of kernels in our hot air popper. About 20 of them flew out of the popper as it was warming up, too small and lightweight to withstand it's fan. My half of what was popped contained about 30 hulls: not unpopped kernels, although there were a few of those also, both whole bits that can't be chewed and the cup-shaped empties that don't digest. These also pop up very small so the same measure of unpopped kernels does not make as large a bowl of popped corn as normal size kernels would. -Something to consider when comparison pricing by the pound.

Love the small hulless kernels. Color and quality are perfect. Price is good.
Healthy choice
The product was great. The taste is great, they dont get stuck in your teeth and gums like the yellow ones do. I did find them a little on the small side though. Texture and colour was nice. I couldnt find the purple popcorn at Shoppers nor at Emporium, so I was ok paying a little bit more than I normally do.

Best popcorn we have ever had.
Great Stuff
less un-popped and great mouth feel - small kernels when popped which I do not mind
Great kernels !
excellent taste, excellent poping ratio, excellent!!!
Not as good
Context: This is my second bag of Amish Country popcorn. My first bag was of the medium white. So the picture of the bowl with tons of popped popcorn on the bottom is a bowl of these midnight blue kernels that I made up in my air popper. The other bowl was a bag of Orville Redenbacher's microwave popcorn, to show what a bowl should normally look like, IMO. Because that's what a bowl of the medium white usually looks like, whether I do it in the air popper or on the stove. These blue kernels don't pop completely and I don't like the small size. I'm going to bag it up and take it to my local free pantry, maybe somebody else will be more satisfied with the small size and more willing to put up with the fact they don't pop properly.
