I make popcorn of various flavors as gifts for my husband's friends at the local pub at Christmas time. I've tried about 5 different kinds and brands. No more searching. This is my favorite. Funny thing is that it's the first one that I tried! I just am a curious sort. Anyway they pop big and fluffy. I use my whirly popper on my stovetop. Make sure you have heat at med/high to get the most out of your popcorn. Don't over fill with kernels either. That's why most people have so many unpopped popcorn. No more than a scant 1/3 cup of kernels to 2 to 3 table spoons high heat oil like canola or vegetable oil. To lessen the huge hulls simple shake the popcorn before pouring out into your bowl. They will fall to the bottom. Just don't pour them on top of your popcorn in the bowl. This is wonderful stuff. I will never buy anything else again. And for now...the price is competitive.

I ran across this Amish Popcorn on a trip through Indiana. I have to say that it is the best popcorn I have ever had. The flavor is so much better than store bought popcorn. the kernels are meatier and 99% pop. For best results, use a Whirley Popper. I ran out of what I purchased so I bought a large bag on Bolo. I have recommended this popcorn to all my friends and family. I think I will be buying Amish popcorn for Christmas presents next year.

These are great. They pop very big on the stove, very few kernels left at the bottom unpopped.

This popcorn is not very good. Though the value per ounce is good and I would imagine it would be OK if a person were to use this and coat it with something such as chocolate or caramel or something like that I would think this might be OK, but OK at best. We enjoy popcorn just as popcorn and this pops up into large pieces, but they simply are not the normal white. They are covered with something like a brown coating after they have popped and they leave a very "bitter" after taste in your mouth. I thought it was almost "dirty" tasting, but my wife stated it more accurately with the word "bitter". There are also a LOT of hulls left in your mouth. Simply not very good popcorn. We are more pleased with the Walmart store brand than this stuff. We now have a LOT of popcorn we have to figure out what to do with.

Love the Extra Large White for Carmel Corn. It pops well in the air popper and it sometimes needs a bit of tilt added to clear the throat of the popper. The texture is crisp...a little crunch and the flavor is very good.Recommended to all popcorn enthusiasts.

I purchased this thinking it was a 6 lb bag of the mushroom popcorn. It’s still good quality and big kernels but not the same as the smaller bag it is sold next too.

Large but Crunchy or Firm
Large sized kennels for the brand, the same as normal Orville Redenbacker, probably good for Carmel popcorn but just too crunch for us.
Very disappointed
These seeds are supposed to pop large mushroom sized popcorn and they do not. I won't be purchasing it again.
It's OK
Really all that I can say is that this Popcorn is OK. I may have gotten an incorrectly marked bag but the kernels do not puff up like I would expect when it was suggested for Caramel Corn.A few do pop like that but not any amount to speak of.I did find that if you put the popping corn in the oil in a cold or cool pan, it pops better. If it is in a hotter pan with oil being heated by the heat in the pan (this would be for second batch to pop) it does not pop as well and there are a lot, way too many hard cores.All I can say is that it tasted good.
Not caramel corn
So disappointed - this is not all caramel corn type popcorn - there is a bit of caramel corn & the rest is butterfly style - and it's small. Now I have 6 pounds of useless popcorn. What a waste.
