5.0 out of 5 stars At present, this pack exceeds my expectations for a pack at this price point.
So far, I am quite pleased with this backpack as it has many features usually found on more higher end backpacks.As an Appalachian Trail section hiker, I have many backpacks and my standards are high. On the AT something must work 100% of the time or you just don’t bring it. Face it, if a backpack falls apart 30 miles from the nearest town, you are in big trouble. To be clear, I have no plans to bring this pack on the AT, frankly I need more than 40 liters for a week to 10 days on the trail. If I was out overnight perhaps. That being said, this pack has many good features that impressed me.I purchased this for use in town, rather than drive, I walk to the grocery store. One buys less so you are forced to focus on what you need, this saves money and provides as good work out. Naturally I bring the groceries home in a smaller backpack. The AT packs are overkill. My old backpack of many years has a developed a bad zipper and needed to be replaced. I found this on sale and gave it a shot.Looking at this pack the materials and sewing look fine, the zippers are not YKK, but they look stout.Top to bottom, there is the obligatory grab loop.There is an unusual top pocket that will not fit a cellphone but will fit sunglasses.The main pocket is quite large and roomy. It has a padded sub-pocket for a laptop that fits my 14-inch computer, held in place with a Velcro strap. Behind that there is a smaller pocket with the usual sub-pockets, one zips, and pen holders etc.Right at the back is a smaller pocket that will fit a cell phone if you want to risk one there, a security concern.There is another pocket right at the bottom where the included rain cover lives. I have not used the cover and I am not a fan of them because water always finds a way under them. Rather I waterproof the pack body and I keep things in the pack in plastic bags as a pack liner if rain is expected, a hard learned lesson from the AT.I cannot speak to the water resistance of the pack but in my book, nothing is waterproof unless I have sprayed it with silicone myself.At the bottom are two straps with clip on fasteners for a light package, a small sleeping bag or tent etc. I always clip a carabiner to anything carried in such a way lest it get lost.Along the back there is a daisy chain of loops on each side and a crisscross elastic bungee to hold say a jacket, I always find a second way to attach a jacket, lest it wiggle free and fall unnoticed.There are loops ostensibly for trekking poles, I have not used those loops.On the side there are 2 mesh outside pockets that will fit a one liter water bottle each. There are two very useful straps with clip on fasteners to tighten and redistribute the weight of the load and to hold larger items in one of the mesh pockets. Such straps are rare for a pack of this size and at this price point.The back is padded.There are load lifter straps, which are rare for a pack of this size and at this price point.The shoulder straps are well padded.There is an adjustable sternum strap, with a cheap orange whistle of dubious utility.There is a fairly broad waist belt with two-way adjustments and two small hip belt pockets, they will not hold a phone but they will hold keys or snacks. Such a waist belt is rare for a pack of this size and at this price point.So far, I have had a gallon of milk, various canned goods, some fruit and vegetables in it, weighing perhaps 25 to 30 pounds, and I carried it with no problem.At present, it exceeds my expectations for a pack at this price point.

This pack has everything you needMy favorite is all the zippered pockets! The two small ones on the waist belt is so important for when hiking (sunblock sunglasses chapstick tools etc)I like the sturdy shoulder straps, adjustable chest straps, the zippered sections and small zippered sections (great for when hiking or backpacking), lots of useful straps on the outside, rain cover in pocket! There’s a section for hydration bladder and hole for hose. We designed and thought out. So great for the price.

Nice and lightweight. Comfortable to wear. Took it on a 3 week journey to the UK and hiking Hadrian's wall. Holds plenty, including secure bands for hiking sticks. One of the lower cloth loops did pull out after two weeks, otherwise holding up ok, carrying around 20-25 pounds. Rain cover worked well. Pockets on padded waist belt are convenient for small items. A bargain.

First impressions. Love the color. Very lightweight. I bought the 40 L in blue. After putting it on and making adjustments to fit, I found the pack to be very comfortable. Nice padding on the hips, back and shoulder straps. I bought this pack for travel, hiking, backpacking and prospecting. The main compartment is large, (14 inch diameter gold pan and classifier will fit), and has a padded enclosure for a laptop. The middle compartment is roomy as well. It has one pouch with a zipper enclosure and small pouches for knickknacks. The outside compartment is approximately 8" x 8". There are two small zippered pockets on the belt, (keys, Chapstick, sunscreen, etc). There is also a “hidden” zippered compartment at the top of the pack, (wallet, keys). There is also a small zippered compartment at the bottom of the bag for your rain fly. Could also be used to stash some items. All zippers look to be made of nylon. The two nylon mesh pockets on each side of the pack will hold a 20 ounce Gatorade bottle. There are plenty of loops, straps and attachment points on this bag. Overall, I'm very pleased with the bag. It was a great price and I'm looking forward to using it.

The bag fits well on my frame - 5'4" 150lb female - but I wouldn't want to go any bigger than this 40L. It's super comfortable with generous padding on the back and shoulders. The waist belt is substantial and hugs my sides. Plenty of areas outside the bag to clip things on. I'm a newbie hiker and this bag could easily do double duty for me and would work as a daypack if packed lightly, but also has room for overnight gear and straps for a sleeping bag & pad, and hiking poles. It's not light-weight compared to my last backpack the was really light, but it's much more comfortable and sits nicely on my hips and back. A water bottle would fall out of my last bag as the pocket wasn't deep enough and the straps to hold it weren't positioned right. This bag doesn't have those issues and holds my water bottle in place. Wish I'd bought this first! Everything is well-sewn and the zippers are smooth. The only thing I'm seeing it lacking is a lined top pocket for sunglasses - but no biggie as I just put my glasses in a fabric drawstring pouch. Great purchase - one of my best from Bolo!

I was worried about quality and it breaking mid travel but no, it lasted and will re use again ! Nothing to complain.

Es una mochila de baja calidad, no es impermeable y la bolsita que te dan para cubrirla del agua tampoco lo es, en caso de mojarse si traspasa a la mochila.La tela de la mochila es súper delgada, si planeas llevar tu tablet/laptop a algún lado considera llevarla con su funda porque la mochila no ofrece nada de protección.Ni de chiste la mochila es de 40lts, mi mochila vieja que supuestamente es de 35lts tiene fácil el doble de capacidad que esta porquería.Espantosa compra muy muy cara para lo que es, a ver a quien se la vendo para recuperarle.(No estoy exagerando banda, enserio si está horrible :c)
Buenas mochila.
Después de un uso prolongado haciendo 3 veces el camino de Santiago, puedo decir que me gusta mucho, sus bolsillos variados son muy útiles para separar todas las prendas y utensilios. Su funda para la lluvia, la cubre sobradamente, incluso con el saco de dormir cogido por fuera de la mochila. Sus cremalleras son suaves y herméticas. El color naranja es de alta visibilidad, lo que facilita ser visto a distancia en caso de emergencia o necesidad.En resumen es una muy buena mochila, con la que me ha sobrado espacio tanto en invierno como obviamente en verano. El cierre lumbar se puede ajustar todo lo necesario para no sobrecargar los hombros y espalda. La parte de la espalda está acolchada y recubierta de un tejido que permite la transpiración y ventilación, teniendo la rigidez necesaria para que la mochila se mantenga derecha y erguida.Recomiendo 100%.
Ottima resistenza, dimensioni giuste come bagaglio a mano
L'ho acquistato perché mi serviva un bagaglio a mano capiente che poi potesse essere sfruttato durante il mio viaggio di un mese in Australia. Ho passato tutti i controlli senza problemi. Con tutte le sue taschine ho trovato il giusto posto per ogni cosa. Praticamente è stato un mese di uso continuativo. Pratico e resistente. Ho sfruttato anche il suo parapioggia che si è rivelato comodo e funzionale.
Guter Wanderrucksack
Sitz sehr gut, viele Fächer auch kleine für Schlüssel oder ein paar Euros, passt genug für eine Wanderung rein.
