My little 6 month old nephew loved this the moment he got his little hands on it. It's cute, it was soft and the scales made the crinkle like noise that he seems to love. It was light weight as he was able to pull it towards him and push it off of him when needed. I took it out of the package for him and it seemed to be very well made. Would definitely recommend this for children under a year old.

My daughter has enjoyed playing with this for a while now. It’s bigger than I expected. The flaps are nice and colorful with different textures which draws her attention and keeps her entertained. I have washed it twice and it comes out looking new each time.

I was so surprised that my baby loves this toy! He enjoys reaching out his hands and crinkling the scales. I’m not sure it’s the best tummy time toy, though, because it’s puffy, making it hard for really little ones (3-4 months old) to see the scales. My 5-month-old loves it when I hold it up for him or when he can sit assisted and play with it. It’s quite large, so he still can’t hold it comfortably. I do like that it’s washable—it survived one wash already and looks brand new!
