This was recommend to me by a French friend of mine who said in France they have a stain remover called Bile de Boeuf and this was the German equivalent. I was sort of skeptical so thought I’d try the worst stain I had. I had left a piece of hard coated Mentos chewing gum in my favorite front shirt pocket and the gum had dissolved in the washer and was completely set in by the dryer. I had tried every stain remover: Soilove, Shout, Oxyclean, Cleaning Vinegar, and still had a semi stiff oil mark stain with remnants of the gum still hanging on for dear life. The shirt had been washed again at least 10 times and the stain never budged. I found an English translation of the directions which said to apply with the applicator brush, leave on for a maximum of 15, and then wash as normal, even in cold water. To my shock 95% of this devil of a stain was gone on first wash! I washed it again and the last 5% has vanished. Just used it on set in stains on linen napkins from last thanksgiving which had been washed, dried, and ironed on stains still on them... and they also are spotless. A real game changer for my stain removal process!

A bunch of my undershirts had started to get the dreaded white stains. We tried all kinds of remedies and none really did the trick. This stuff worked like a charm, really surprised and impressed!

I originally brought this back with me after a trip to Germany. It is the best spot remover I have ever used. It will get spots out that my washer and detergent will not touch. A bit expensive to buy from this side of the ocean as one can easily get 3 or 4 bottles of Dr Beckmann’ Gallseife for the same price overseas.

I got Gallseife the first time when I traveled to Germany. This stuff works on anything. You know those stains on the underarms of your shirts from deodorant? This gets rid of them. Rust, grass, makeup, spaghetti...yep. It gets rid of those too. You can't beat Gallseife!
