EDIT: awesome customer service, after writing this review the company offered me a full replacement.I love this lotion and it works great but oh my goodness the new scents are awfulllllll. I bought vanilla and it makes my head hurt. Does not smell like vanilla. Smells like straight chemicals. Stick to original.

Well you guys this stuff actually works! Little background on me, my hands and feet started sweating when I was about 8 years old and it intensified through puberty and got so bad that not only did they sweat buckets, but they would swell up to the point where I couldn't even make a fist and my shoes became really tight and uncomfortable. I was also embarrassed to wear flip-flops or sandals because anyone who looked at my feet would probably wonder why they look like I had just dipped them in a bucket of water.Sweaty hands and feet have made so many things in my life difficult for me and I'm sure anyone reading this knows exactly how that feels. I thought about getting the sympathectomy to clamp the nerve responsible for everything but the side-effects scared me way too much and besides, I don't have 10K lying around to pay for the cost of surgery. The side effect that I was the most worried about was, compensatory sweating. I read about one person who got the surgery and although they stopped sweating in their hands and feet, compensatory sweating began occurring on their buttocks and they had to wear a diaper every day so the sweat wouldn't soak through their pants. I don't know about you, but that sounds WAY WORSE to me than living with sweaty hands and feet. And although the surgery can be reversible by removing the clamp on the nerve, it's not guaranteed. Did I mention Horners Eye as another side effect? Ya, droopy eyelids are so not the look I'm going for. I also did the shock treatment for a while back in the early 2000's and it was a long and painful process and the results were hardly worth all the trouble. Those were our options, people! Surgery or painful shock treatment. I still can't believe that a seemingly simple lotion has made such a difference in my life.I work as a photographer and holding a camera while my hands are sweating buckets is so difficult, not to mention embarrassing, as the sweat drips from hands and down my arms while I'm holding my camera to my face. Remember how I mentioned that my hands swell up too? When they swell up they also become super sensitive to the touch. So holding a camera while they are sweating and swelling is not only uncomfortable, but painful as well. Well I'm here to tell ya, this stuff actually works! I've been using it off and on for a few weeks now and I'm so thankful to the makers of this product for changing my quality of life. I use it when my hands are completely dry and I try to keep them from sweating for at least 30 minutes.As you can see in the picture, the areas where there are cracks in my hands are areas that are sweat-free. The areas where there aren't any cracks, are areas that have started to sweat but only a little bit. I took this picture about 4 hours into shooting a wedding outside in the 80 degree heat and normally under these conditions, my hands would be sweating/swelling and making my life miserable. As the night went on, the lotion started wear off but it was still not nearly as bad as it would be had I not used the lotion earlier that day.So even though Carpe lotion hasn't stopped the sweat 100%, its still enough that my quality of life has changed tremendously! I have a new-found confidence in almost every aspect of my life and my stress level has gone WAY down. It really is like living a new life without this dark cloud constantly hanging over my head. I'm going to end this with saying that if it hasn't worked for you, keep trying. Try to put it on when your hands are totally dry and do so at night before bed, in the morning, and once in the afternoon. Little side note, I have not used this on my feet yet. I wanted to see if it made a difference on my hands first before I purchased more for my feet. If anyone associated with Carpe lotion is reading this, thank you for making such a life-changing product. I'll be buying more to apply on my feet throughout the summer and I'll update this post and let you all know how it goes!

It is super easy to just rub onto your palms like lotion, and it really does work, I have pretty sweaty palms (especially when working in latex/nitrile gloves all the time) and this has really helped ease that problem and keeps my hands dry! It does seem expensive for a small bottle, but a little goes a long way so it will last awhile! It does make your hands feel almost chalky? But it wasn’t hard to get used to and is way better than the sweaty palms I was dealing with!

I game a lot and my hand sweating really deters my mouse movement getting stuck. I tried other antiperspirant lotions but many wouldn't really stop my hands from sweating even if I properly followed the directions. Especially because when I think about my hand sweating, they would sweat even more, so if I were to wash my hands, dry it before I apply the competitor lotions, I would start sweating again even before I can apply these lotions. They would just not adhere to my hand and by the time I'm done rubbing the competitor lotions, I would just be sweating it all off and making a mess with my sweaty, grimy and weirdly grippy hands.These on the other hand, I followed the directions, washing my hands, drying it what not and they worked GREAT. What's even greater is, it would be the same situation where I would be conscious that I'm trying to stop my sweat, so my hands start sweating but I would just finish rubbing this lotion and bam. My hand is still sweating but it's significantly reduced. Competitor lotions would just make me feel I have to take this lotion off before my keyboard and mouse get dirty but this one... built different.If you're like me, where you start sweating BECAUSE you're actively trying to stop sweating, use this one. It'll help you reduce the sweat without it feeling like it ruined your hands with the lotion and sweat rubbed all over your hands. At this point, I even stopped following directions, before I start gaming, I would just rub this on my palm and fingers and I no longer have issues with my gaming.

I was considering botox treatment for My sweaty hands as I dreaded touching people or shaking hands, even holding my steering wheel in the car felt awful with slippery hands. The really is BRILLIANT! A tiny dab goes a long way and really does do the job, dry hands! It's almost weird to get used to not having clammy hands. Really effective, so happy with it.

Ottima, una sorpresa inaspettata
Soffro da quando sono bambino di iperidrosi palmare, non ho mai usato alcun tipo di prodotto in quanto per me non è mai stato un problema, però a volte effettivamente diventava un fastidio, per esempio quando affronto esami scritti impiegando metà del tempo nel tentativo invano di asciugarmi le mani per non bagnare il foglio..Uso questa crema da qualche giorno ed effettivamente riduce la sudorazione di un buon 50%, addirittura quando la applico prima di dormire la pelle delle mani diventa talmente secca da provocare fastidio. Anche se non la applico durante il giorno comunque la sudorazione è diminuita di molto, infatti non ci sono più momenti in cui le mani grondano di sudore come accadeva prima, per ora mi sento di consigliare questo prodotto, anche solo per applicarlo quando necessario.
